Last night I tripped over a leather footstool and took a good fall. I'm on 20 mg of Xeralto for DVT & PE. This afternoon I started getting dizzy. Not terribly, but still a little worrisome. What should I do? ## It would be best to have it checked out buy your doctor, or someone at the ER/Urgent Care. There is a risk that you have suffered a concussion, or are experience bleeding, which could be risky, according FDA reports. How are you feeling, now? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?

Hi, ive been getting ardin 10 diazepam, but the pharmacy i get them from has just got blister packs of dizzy 10/D 10 diazepam, has anyone had any of these? They are white with no markings at all, they are from india. ## @chrskao, I believe that the pills you have are the Zepose Diazepam generics from India. Just so you know, they might be weaker than the genuine Diazepam. Some generics that are labeled as 10mg may only contain 6-8mg of the active ingredient. Learn More: Diazepam Details I hope this helps! ## Yes, I just finally received mine too. I was just looking them up now because I thought they might be fake because they really don't work for me? I guess they're legit ?? But definitely not like the blue ones. Here in the States. ## I had a seizure about a week ago from runn...

Been on it for a year and ever since suffer constant dizziness. Thought it was allergies but nothing helps. Has anyone else dealt with this ? ## If it's still continuing after a year, it's most likely not going to change, you'll most likely just need to switch to a different medication. Have you tried any other antidepressants? There are many others available. Do you take it for depression, anxiety or something else? ## Was taking it for depression. I've cut it down to just 10mg a day. Dizziness is gone, but intense sadness and anxiety is through the roof.. getting ready to try something else.

Today marks one week of being on Belviq. Let me first say I have hypothyroidism which makes me lathargic already. Now I have added Belviq to the mix and functioning normally is a chore. I have also started having nightmares that keep me up throughout the night. I am dizzy and lightheaded all the time. I need to loose weight but if I cannot function I'm not sure how that will happen. I am on the fence about if I should stop taking this medicine. ## It is normal to experience side effects for the first 4 to 6 weeks of taking a new medication, but around 3 to 4 weeks in, they should start to taper off in severity, and eventually go away entirely, once your body is used to the medication. Other side effects of Belviq may include nausea, anxiety, hypertension, insomnia, and chills. Are y...

My husband has been taking Embeda for about a week now. Every time he sits up he gets too dizzy like he passes out for about a second and falls back on the bed. Also happens when he lays down from sitting up, he gets really dizzy. ## Hello, Elaine! How is your husband doing? Has there been any change? This medication can cause severe dizziness in some people. What dosage is he currently taking? However, as reported by the FDA, it can also cause orthostatic hypotension as a side effect, that's when your blood pressure drops, when you move suddenly and it sounds like that might be what he's experiencing. Has he consulted his doctor? He needs to have this checked out as it may not be the right medication for him to take, passing out like that could be dangerous. ## Hi Verwon. I am ...

Ive been ditropan for a while and in the last few months have started having symptoms of dizzyiness and pressure in my forehead. Episodes last for a few hours. Im trying to find out if others are having simular issues or whether its an unrelated issue to ditropan. Have others experienced this? ## I am also experiencing dizziness and fatigue from this drug. I've been on oxybutynin now for about a year and a half. I've stopped taking this drug for about 2 weeks now. I was taking 15mg a day. Some days are better than others but I'm still not myself quite yet... ## Ditropan contains the active ingredient Oxybutynin, it is most commonly used to help treat overactive bladder, and yes, it is well known to cause these types of side effects, according to FDA reports. I've been on Cymgen 60mg for a year now and really don't feel that I need it anymore. I started taking a capsule every second day. Since yesterday I have been extremely dizzy. I don't want to prolong the symptoms and have decided that I will go cold turkey. Can anyone give me some peace of mind that the symptoms will clear up sooner if I go cold turkey and not taper of slowly? ## Hello, Antoinette! How are you? No, they will usually not clear up sooner, if you go cold turkey, they usually affect you more severely and take longer to clear up, sometimes as long as 4 to 6 weeks. Typical withdrawal symptoms, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, diarrhea, rebound pain, rebound anxiety and rebound depression. A slow taper is really the best ...

I took a 500 mg Naproxen yesterday, it took a second to kick in. I was having a real bad headache and a friend gave me one. When I got to work I started feeling really relaxed and dizzy. It was like my body felt like putty or I had no bones in my body. Is it suppose to make me feel this way? True enough the headache was gone and I felt like a totally different person but I didn't like the side affects it caused. ## My doctor recommended to start with two 220 mg. pills for arthritis - which would only be 440 mgs and then follow with only one within the time allotted according to the bottle. He told us not to take more than the 440 mg. EVER so it sounds like you possibly took too much and one at 220 mg would have been better for a headache, unless it was a migraine, then you'd tak...

How long were you taking it? If you were on it for a few weeks, then some type of withdrawal effect would be normal and it could include dizziness. It's probably best to just take it slow for a few days. Are you switching to another medication soon?

I was taking the methylprednisolone for some pain I had in my neck and arm. The doctor prescribed the six day pack and I followed the directions and finished the prescription. The problem I'm having now started the day after I stopped taking the medication. The day after stopping the meds I got incredibly dizzy. It's been almost two weeks now and I'm still feeling dizzy. It's not as bad as the first few days but I still feel quite dizzy. It happens all day long and doesn't seem to be effected by movement or food. Could I be having side effects from the meds this long after finishing them? ## Hello, Marcie! How are you? That would be very unusual, though some side effects can linger after you finish your course of it, they usually only do so for a few days to a week. ...

Is it"normal" to have dizzyness and even occasional fainting when taking diclofenac sod 75mg.These have occurred upon rising from a supine position and lasts only seconds.Patient is on medication for elevated BPand having no problems.Diclofenac has been prescribed for back pain ## Hello, Dan! How is the patient doing? Has there been any change? The FDA patient leaflet for Diclofenac does list dizziness as being a possible side effect, along with nausea, headache, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding, but the fainting is not common. Taking the fainting into consideration, along with the dizziness, the blood pressure medication you said the patient is on, as well as when these issues occur, I am more inclined to think they may be experiencing orthostatic hypotension. ...

ive been on this drug since nov. and have been feeling great. even decreased the dose to once a day. but for the last 2 months i have been feeling dizzy when i lay down. wondering if it's the drug or something totally not related. anyone else expierence this? a bit like vertigo. thanks cass ## It could be an orthostatic blood pressure change, meaning your BP is dropping too low when you lay down. What is your current daily dose? Have you spoken to your doctor about this? Once they got my BP down, the doses of medications I was on proved too strong and we've had to make several adjustments due to the dizziness when I lay down or stand up. ## Current dose is 25mg daily. Once a day. Doc says it might be an inner ear problem

Did you mean Excedrin? If so, dizziness can be a normal side effect of it, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, stomach irritation, nervousness and insomnia. You may be able to mitigate it by taking it with food and not on an empty stomach. Have you ever checked your blood pressure, when you feel like that?

Hey there, I started taking the dose at night (10 pm)to prevent night sweats and insomnia, which has been working. But I find about 12 hours after taking the dose 10/11 am I become extremely dizzy and nauseated , sensitive to light , headache..... and lasts time about 8 or 9 at night. Then I'm fine the next morning and bang right at 10 or 11 the symtoms happen again. Is this dose to high for me ? Do these symtoms wear off after time? Been on for about 2 weeks..... thanks for your time. ## Hello, Melissa! How are you? If the symptoms are that severe, you should consult your doctor, as this may not be the right medication for you. Did you start off at the 300mg dose, or did you start with a lower one and slowly raise it? Sometimes titrating can help minimize the side effects. Other si...

I started on Lexapro 5mg then quickly to 10mg for derealization/depersonalisation depression about 15 months ago. It wore off really fast and my doctor put me on Pristiq. It didn't really hit the spot straight away but over time I felt back to my normal self. I started getting more frequent brain fog and upped the dose until I was on 200mg a day but after a while any amount of Pristiq made me fatigued dizzy and it got worse until I'd get more brain fog, extreme fatigue, dizzy, nausea, sweats and vomit. I've gone cold turkey for 2 day's now. No brain fog at all now but still dizzy and extremely fatigued constantly. I'm wondering if I have some type of vertigo like pseudo vertigo or pseudo cushings syndrome. They seem to be the only things I can find that possibly tick th

Hi, I took chantix for 6 weeks. I am glad I quit smoking after nearly forty years but while on it I couldn't bare the nausea and the stomach upset. I quit after taking it for six week but now I get headaches and I feel like I am going to pass out several times a day. Has anyone experienced this side effect. ## Sorry to hear you are having such a hard time. Lately there has been cases where people have gotten late onset diabetes. It is type 1, insulin dependent. They got it shortly after taking chantix. You may want to see a docter. Also check for these symptoms, very thirsty all the time, using restroom a lot and loosing weight. Those are also good signs of type 1 diabetes ## I suffer from the same thing. I thought maybe it was my BP but when it was checked it was good. I would like...
