Discount Cards

I just found a pharmacy discount card that gave me 80% off of my Wellbutrin prescription! The card was free to sign up for and was super easy to work. advorx.com is the site. Has anyone had a bad experience with a rx discount card like this? It says it works at all major chain pharmacies and even works to get discount diabetes supplies. But my question is if there are any strings attached that I will realize later and if the card will continue working? ## To my knowledge, most of these types of cards are legitimate with no strings attached and should work (continuously) at any of the well-known pharmacies in your area. Have you gone into any pharmacies yet to try it on your prescription?

Do chain pharmacies in Massachusetts take this and other discount cards? I've gotten a few different types in the mail but never tried to use them because many of the assistance programs say that they are not to be used in MA. I go to Rite Aid for all of my prescriptions, but also have a Walgreens, Walmart, CVS local. Has anyone tried to use this discount card shown above in any of these stores in MA?

I've used a discount card for Nuvigil and gotten the first month free, and then the next month came out to $25 or so. This last month it was $120! Wishful thinking, but is it possible to just use a new discount card from my doctor at a different pharmacy? ## Hi Mell, Going to a new pharmacy is always a viable option in my opinion, especially if you're trying to weight out costs. But another thing I would also recommend, is trying to compare a different discount card at the same pharmacy you're used to going to. This way you can determine which one of those cards offers you a greater discount, in relationship to those price fluctuations that have been occurring each month. Do you think that your card just could've expired after your second time using it? Something that co...

Can anyone please help. I am going through transitioning doctors and Insurances. Currently no Insurance. long story short I am having to pay for my prescription of 120 Oxymorphone er 40mg. Yet the lowest I can find is still around $600 !!! With discount card. Yikes!! My research has found there are NO programs available. I have found Discount cards, but nothing substantial. Does anyone have a good lead? I'm grateful I am down to a single pain med. But financially its straining. ## I know exactly how you feel because I've been in the very same situation. That certainly is a ridiculous price. Honestly, the best option is to consider discussing with your pain doctor the possibility of switching to a different pain medication once you get settled with a new doctor because there are ...

Need help paying for subutex ## Hello, Tammy! How are you? I'm sorry, but I have not been able to find a current assistance program for Subutex. This is fairly normal, since generics are available now, which by their very nature are cheaper. One idea to try to save money on your prescription would be to ask your pharmacy if they accept any discount cards. Most of them are free to enroll in, you just sign up on the relevant website and then print the card. Does anyone else have any ideas? Will you insurance cover it? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

My mother has been using the drug Pennsaid for knee pain. We recently had to change insurance companies and she went from paying $40.00 per month for this to now paying $136.00. This is totally unreasonable for her to have to pay this amount. I was curious to see if your company offered any type of drug discount card that would make this cheaper for her. This has helped her in her walking quite a bit but now has become a little too pricey for her. Thanks... ## Hi Donna, Sorry to hear about that crazy price increase. These pharmacies always find little ways to squeeze an extra paycheck out of people and it's a bit ridiculous to say the least. As far as saving money on her prescription, there are plenty of free Prescription Drug Discount Cards out there that you can find on google, wh...

I just found out that shire has multiple programs running for intunive. my DR got us in one that runs for 6 months. Well it hard to take when you hear that another discount program offered runs for 12 months. Would have saved $1200 more for yr. After 5th call i have found out that the company does not educate the public to what the can get from these programs. 1) They run multiple programs and will not move you to another once you are signed up. So if your rep/dr gave you th 6month card the company will not move you to 12months prorated. What I want to know is who is getting the 12 month cards? What criteria did they hand these out vs 6 months? is economics? Search the web ask our dr but do not sign up unitl you have all programs to assess. We are now out $1200 for yr. thanks shire ## I...

I have no insurance currently and need help paying for my Lyrica. ## Hello, Tonya! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're out of work. However, since there are generics available, there is no assistance program available for this medication. But there are pharmacy discount cards that may make it cheaper. There is one towards the right on each page of this site, you simply click the link, submit your email address, then print the card and take it to your pharmacy. The FDA classifies Lyrica as an anticonvulsant that is also used to treat certain types of nerve pain and some mood disorders. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes. Does anyone else have any suggestions that may help? ## The company that makes Lyrica...

How much would a prescription cost of 120 30mg oxycodone pills with no insurance? ## USE GOVMT DISCOUNT CARDS FROM SOCIAL SERVICES. ASK FOR DISCOUNT CARDS. GOD BLESS...THEY CUT YOUR COST 50%. ## @Jack, Costs tend to vary based on location as well (i.e. the same prescription in Canada may be pennies on the dollar in comparison to US prices). The same goes for those who utilize pharmacy coupons such as the one MedsChat offers here: Rx Savings Card This card in particular may save you anywhere from 15 to 75% off the typical cost. Something I don't know of however, is if these pharmacy coupons provide a different percentage of savings at different pharmacy chains (such as CVS vs Walgreens vs RiteAid, etc). So if I were you I'd consider calling up a few different pharmacies in your a...

It come directly from the company, this is what I had to do. Now I am thier little lab rat and recieve the Suboxone for free. I would suggest looking into it or get some sort of insurance. I am looking for a coupon or discount to offset the amount that my health insurance does not cover ## As far as saving money on your prescription, there are plenty of free Prescription Drug Discount Cards out there that you can find on Google; which advertise a potential savings of 10-75% off your Rx. While this is not intended to be a substitute for insurance, I think it should definitely help offset the cost for you. Just run a Google search for "tudorza pressair coupons" and of the first few options there, you can simply choose to print out whichever one that offers the most assistance. I hope this info helps!

eo day free supply amphetamine salt combo 15mg 60 count ## Hi Donald, Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there any free amphetamine coupons out there for grabs. Most prescription drug discount cards that I know of (such as this one - Rx Savings Card), can save you anywhere from 15-75% off the total cost of your Rx... but nothing entirely free. Patient assistance programs on the other hand, may pay for more of your medications up front if your income qualifies you for the assistance. Just talk with your doctor and see what he can do for you in that regard. There should be several types of programs available for those who truly need it. I hope this helps!

Where can I find help for the cost of this drug, since I do not have insurance? I need to take it twice a day. The cost is $100...overwhelming cost as I am on a small pension. Thanks! ## Have you considered looking into Rx drug discount cards? Many of them allow you to save 'up to' 75% off your prescription. I think it would be worth while to give it a shot, just to see how much you can save: RX Discount Card Also, certain manufacturers offer some sort of patient assistance program. If you know the manufacturer of your tablets, I would suggest contacting them to inquire about this service. I hope this helps! ## Depending upon the strength of the tablets you are taking, another option under all circumstances is to get it in a higher strength and score the tablet in half. I take a...

I have been taking the generic version of Opana er and the short active but at one location. Well I have now lost my medical insurance so I have to pay cash. I can not afford that but was checking out some of these discount cards and they have listed some of the normal pharmacy like CVS, Walgreen etc., but none off them will carry it. How can I find help to get them without paying such a high price. ## You can actually call 211 and ask for information on prescription help. They can direct you with some companies that actually send the medicine to you or pay the pharmacy. It varies with every med. I actually was approved for this for Opana but Doc changed my med. I need to know what the price is in different quantity amounts for Rimadyl 25mg for my dog in different local pharmacies in my area code of 99223. Can you provide that information to me, and how much of a discount is provided by Savings Cards? ## How can I look up drug prices and savings by using RX Meds Chat? ## Hello, Mary! How are you? I'm sorry, but I do not have access to such information for you. It can vary widely from area to area. Have you tried checking with your local pharmacies? Rimadyl is listed as containing Carprofen, which the FDA classifies as an NSAID that's used to treat pain and swelling. Typical side effects for canines may include nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation. Does anyone have any idea of what this might cost?

how much does it cost for a script of 120 10/325 norcos without insurance? ## 100.00 for180 generic ## @chevy, To my understanding, the price is going to be somewhat different depending on your location, whether or not you use any discount cards or have a specific type of insurance that help you pay for your medication, etc. From what I could gather, most pharmacies in my location charge anywhere from $260 to $275 for a script of 120 (10mg/325mg) Norco brand tablets. The generics are of course much cheaper, and reflect less than a quarter of that price for 120 tablets. But I'd imagine the price will be different in other locations. I hope this helps!
