If you fail a disa drug test and are listed inactive in their system, how do you fix the problem or become active again? ## I took a drug test through disa on 6/13/13 and failed. I went home and took over the counter drug test and passed on the same day. I went back to disa on 6/14/13 and took another drug test that I paid for and passed. I showed them the prescriptions I was on from gallbladder surgery. They say I have to go to their drug abuse class before I can become active again to go to work? Failed disa urine screen for marijuana, went threw the substance abuse program, waited 40 days and took another urine screen to return to work, but still have marijuana in my test results. So my question is will they make me take the substance abuse program again because it takes so long for marijuana to clear my system? ## My boyfriend took a hair follicle test with disa and failed but he does not smoke marijuana. A close family member failed a drug screen yesterday. He works(ed) for a major oil company. My question and fear is does that company or the testing facility have the ability to share that test with other major companies? Is this drug screen going to keep him from getting another job in the oil field? Anyone with experience or knowledge please share, thank you. ## All Oilfield companies use disa for that reason. It shows up to all of them ## F*** disa, like they haven't ever made a mistake in their f****d up life. You're better off finding a job that doesn't use them. By the time you jump through their hoops you'll have 10 years in somewhere else.

My problem is I was hurt in a snowboarding accident. Since then I have suffered chronic pain. After a year on State disability they ended it. The federal government decided that I wasn't disabled. I use to earn over $100,000/yr. The federal goverment says if you can earn $900/mo that is substanial work. My problem is that I am trying to find a job but everybody drug tests. And of course my drugs show up. Does anybody know about drug testing laws? ## Are you referring to prescription drugs legally prescribed by your doctor? If so, then it will not matter what shows up on the test, as long as you are legally taking them. Is anyone familiar with this company's hair follicle testing? Particularly for the oil and gas, and refining industry - What is the standard panel they run on the hair test? What is the cut off level? Have you seen any of the companies that use DISA have a zero tolerance policy where ANY level of drug is considered a failure? Thanks for any help! ## I did a random drug test for my company a few days ago (via hair follicle). I take Xanax, pain pills and had a small amount of marijuana 4 weeks ago. I have prescriptions for my meds but I was sure I was going to fail. I received a phone call today and the only thing that showed up were the pain pills. Very relieved to say the least. My husband has been on methadone for 8 months at 10-15 mg per day. He recently has gotten put on probation and has to come off of it. How long will it take him to show up clean on a drug test? ## Does anyone know how long the withdrawal symptoms and going to last or how to ease them? ## Tell him to keep going, his probation can't make him get off if he has a prescription. I failed a Disa drug test for the oilfield, said methamphetamine was in my system. Went back and paid for retest and it was negative. Disa made me do counseling and the reinstated me. That was over two years ago and many observed ua's since. Now we are slow and looks like layoff is coming. I do not take any street drugs at all. I am disabled and I am raising 4 of my grandkids. For a personal reason someone called DSS and they done drugts. I take several mecidens For my disability. At my drug screen testing I was not worried at all because I have a script for everything I use. Well my drug screen showed up as meth and I have been taking NORFLEX.. This is the only med I found that could show up that way. Please help me and let me know if anyone has any information about it. how long do lortabs stay in your system??? ## Bill, it depends on what sort of testing is performed. For example, Lortab would most likely disappear from a urine test within 4-5 days max, but might show up in a hair test up to 90 days later. Don't take these numbers to be 100% accurate, but the good news is that most standard drug tests don't look for Hydrocodone - rather they would most likely test for Codeine, Heroin, or Morphine usage. There are expanded tests to look for additional drugs such as Hydrocodone or Xanax etc. Hope this info helps. ## Lortab leaves the system after a couple of days. Over the last two months I have lost 20 pounds and I am already thin to begin with. I do have Crohn's Disease but they do not think this is the cause from testing they have run. I have terrible stomach pain, suffer from migraines (always have) but I have noticed that my appetite has basically disappeared, I can go days without eating and still function. Problem is the weight loss is scary and I have very little energy which I know is from the lack of nutrition but everything tastes wrong to me, it has a metallic taste. I was prescribed 60mg of imdul when i complained of recurring slight chest pain after a 2 minuets walk but pain disappears when i take a short rest and can then finish my walk with no pain. Few days before prescription arrived started not having the pain. Should i still take the medication when it arrived? Thanks. ## Hello, Ruben! How are you? Did they do any testing, such as as an EKG, or did they just prescribe the medication? It really depends on that. If they did testing and said that you need the medication, you should take it, but if not, you may want to get a second opinion from a cardiologist. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache.

I fell a week ago and twisted my right ankle and knee so I took a 50 mil Tramadol, one a day for a week.
