I recently discovered my mother took zomax and died from this medication. The drug was taken off the market the day after she died. I know now there were many case suits but I did not know that she had taken the drug until recently. She was only 64 years old. My children/her grandchildren missed out on having their grandmother. Even though the person may seem to be alive and fine, you can't see whether or not they've done any organ damage, especially to their liver, which usually takes the brunt of such overdoses. Has the person displayed any symptoms of overdose that the FDA lists, such as dizziness, hypothermia, hemorrhagic blisters and shallow breathing? Can 370 mg of this medication kill someone? ## From what I've read, the recommended dose of Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) is 5 to 10mgs three times daily; which would amount to 15 or 30 mgs total. I'm not sure why anyone in their right frame of mind would consider taking anything more than that, but 370mg is just ridiculous and careless in my opinion. Do you know if this person is even still alive right now or are you simply speaking hypothetically? In case of any overdose, you should probably be prepared to call your local poison control center or emergency hotline first and foremost. Waiting for a possible response on a forum may not be the best idea if the person you know really is dying from this overdose. I hope this helps!

be extremely careful when taking flomax and read the fine print. it tells you that you run the risk of dying from flomax if you do certain reasonable thing. like living. took flomax for 4 days, worked out in the yard for a couple of hours. laid down on the front porch and stopped breathing. but for the grace of God i am still here, disabled but alive. user beware. ## Wow, I'm actually surprised they allow drugs like this to remain on the market. Warning label on implanon does not begin to describe to horrific side effects of this birth control. And yes, there are many. Many of them will depress you to a point of suicidal thoughts and actions. Some women love this BC as their bodies seem, for now,to adjust to the enormous amount of synthetic hormone being released each day into the body. But if you research this product further, you will see women are having bad effects years down the road. It is not worth risking your health on this one. I am 34 years old and a addict. I have been an addict since I was 21 years old. I have always been able to stop using when I wanted until last July when a string of very disturbing events happened in my life leaving me to attempt taking my own life. Subject A was sectioned under the mental health act in the UK, he had not been taking medication for a while, he was prescribed 750mg a night in hospital for 10 days, on the second night subject began to experience his heart stop and would jump up pounding his chest asking for help, put on heart monitor and heart rate was 180 or higher, high blood pressure and told it was anxiety go to sleep. My husband died from what is described as "the result of a toxic level of oxycodone, 200 ng/mL." How many pills could he have taken? ## Dear Chrissy, My sincere condolences for the loss of your husband. I think the answer to this question (re: how many pills he could've taken) may be subjective based on your husband's tolerance to opiates/opioids, the speed of his metabolism, when he took them relative to the timing of his death, etc. For a chronic pain patient who depends on daily oxycodone use for relief, I'd imagine that the number of pills could've been quite high. I've been using Oxycodone for five years for pain management. I read about all the deaths that were associated with this drug which were being attributed to intentional over medications by patients in order to get high. I discovered by pure accident that there appears to be a major flaw in this pill's ability to consistently breakdown in the human system like it is intended to do, especially in the time release tablet. My son was on oral methadone for 3 years. He got arrested and was in rehab for 5 weeks. During that time he detoxed from the methadone. When he got out he was clean for a year then one morning his son found him dead. Wife said it was a methadone overdose and they wrote it off as suicide. I was placed on this drug IV for 17 days . after my amniotic fluid ruptured. I was about 31 weeks pregnant when my son was finally delivered. He has severe RSD and was very septic. How much dosage of restly can b fatal to death? ## @redfire, From what I could gather, most people who take Restyl (Alprazolam) don't usually require more than a few milligrams per day (except in severe cases). However, anything over the amount prescribed by your doctor would be considered an overdose. Whether or not it would be fatal is another story; and this exact number is probably going to be different for every individual depending on whatever tolerance their body has developed over time from taking this drug. I'm scared to death. I've been on 8mgs of xanax for 7 years and on 4mgs of klonopin for 2 years before that. As my tolerance grew so did my need for more xanax but 8mgs is the highest amount allowed to be prescribed. I've tried almost every drug to help with sleep before and nothing worked. I had a doctor that never saw me and all I had to do was pick up my prescription. I never thought I'd lose him. I'm now physically addicted and dependent on xanax. I have been taking oxycodone 30 milligram for about 10 years. I have neuropathy in one leg due to nerve damage,(3 back surgeries). I have been taking different brand of generic roxicodone throughout the years, but this new oxycodone 122 by CARA made me deathly ill.
