I have pills that are 14 months old,are they safe to take? Can not get to a doctor for a new prescription. ## Being that the pill is over a year old, I'm assuming it is passed its expiration date. When it comes to drugs and other medication I believe it is best to not take any chances with the past expiration date. They may still be ok to take if they haven't been exposed to a high amount of heat or various other conditions outside of the bottle, however I am not a pharmacist or MD, so I cannot guarantee if it is safe for you to consume. There is still a high likelihood that it lost some of its potency and may be ineffective to the point where it could harm your body. pill scored both sides ## Sorry, this does not sound like an authentic med, here's an image of the Dan pill with those markings, Pill Image As you can see, it is orange, says DAN DAN and the numbers, and it is only scored on one side. There has been a rampant problem with counterfeit meds, or even people manufacturing X and trying to make it look like real meds, my guess is you have something severely questionable and your best bet would be to flush it.
