Hi, I had sugar levels 250(fasting) and 302(pp) one month back. I started taking one tablet of Germer 1 in morning I tested my levels yesterday and are 81 fasting and 95 PP(I tested sugar level without taking medicine that day). Doctor told me to reduce tablet to half. How often are you supposed to take teva 5312 antibiotics a day? ## Hello, Ayla! How are you? You should follow the dosing instructions that you were provided with your prescription. Teva Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 500mgs of Ciprofloxacin. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, it is normally taken twice daily, one tablet every 12 hours. My Rheumatologist says that it is unnecessary to withdraw from Oxazepam 15mg. (see above Topic for dosage) and merely substitute with a lesser dosage of Difucan (10mg. @ 4-6 hours daily) as they are "the same drug"! I have been taking this Oxazepam dosage for 25 years+. Now I am following his instructions and having major withdrawal miserable symptoms. Hello, I was tentatively diagnosed 6 weeks ago with partial simple seizures ( a weird feeling in abdomen that 'whooshes' it's way up to my head) and put on 1000 Keppra daily (500 twice a day.) Dr upped dose to 1500 daily. My question- can I take a 500 pill every 8 hours (6am-2pm-10pm) instead of 750 every 12 hours? The larger dose wipes me out. What is the correct daily dosage for severe arthritis? The E/R physician initially prescribed one or two tablets every 4 to six hours. My regular physician has changed the dosage to one tablet every four hours, but she did not specify the maximum number of tablets that could be taken in a 24 hour period.
