What and how long we can use this n side effect of tab. ## I was advised Ctd.6.25 once daily bymy Doctor in Mumbai due to swelling in feet and lower legs in April this year. As swelling persisted with a little improvement I was advised to increase dose to 2 tabs of this medicine daily in 1st week of August which I am still continuing. The Swelling has gone down by 100% early morning but increases by 20/25% during the day. I also take 1.Rivaroxaban 15mg Once; 2.Dilzem SR twice; 3.Zilsar 40 once night time; 4.Aldactone once; Omez 20 once. Please advise further course of action. Thanks.

Ctd 12.5 is prescribed by my doctor. I have been taking this medicine for the last fifteen days. I feel lightheaded or sometimes heaviness in my head & sometime weakness in my body. Although with this medicine my BP remains in control. Also, concor 2.5 and s-numlo 2.5 in the evening is prescribed. How can i overcome these difficulties? ## These can be typical side effects of such medications, you may also experience nausea, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. However, they should go away, with time, once your body gets used to the medication, but that could take 5 to 5 weeks. Has there been any change?

This is supposed to be ciprofloxacin 500 mg, but my symptoms are the same, and I can't id this drug. Thank you. ## That is correct, it is manufactured by Carlsbad Technology Inc. and they do list it as containing 500mgs of Ciprofloxacin, which is an antibiotic that is used treat various types of bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash. How long have you been taking it?

I have been a patient of hypertension for last 16 yrs. It remained within normal range with regular medication. During May-June'11 the BP was higher despite medication. On July 1, I felt trouble in speech. My doctors suspected a mild stroke but there was no sign in the vocal cord. The tightness of speech was also noticed one day only. However, a CT scan of brain revealed chronic Ischemic lesions. My blood lipid profile is normal. I am 80 years old. I have a) Night dry cough spoiling my sleep and well being. b) Have lack of stamina after early morning hours worsening to inability to walk even a hundred meters by evening. I feel healthy otherwise because 1) I do not have any problem to do daily morning walk 5.5 kilometers 2) I think I am exceptionally healthy except for the above two problems because all hematological, enzymatic and cardiology tests under limit. I have occasional left side lower abdominal pain which continues to scrotum and left leg. Doctor precribed cyclopam and normaxin. I have the history of stone earlier and cured by taking some medicine. My SGPT (ALT) is 52.4. Uric acid 7.3m/dl. Total Cholesterol 237.1mg/dl. Taking udiliv 150mg and febutaz 40mg. Still I feel discomfort in stomach. Should i go for CT scan? ## I have gall stone and feel blotted, leftside abdominalpain occassionally, feel heavy. My cholestrol is marginally high first time. I think this was something i was given post op, it is a large ish white tablet, above the score line it says C below it it says CT. I assume it is some kind of codeine preparation. ## The tablet your referring to is codhydramol. Please excuse my spelling

my spouse was prescribed sulfamethoxazole -tmp ds on feb 25. for 3 days. 1 tab 2-day she took total 5 tabs and had to stop. got severe headaches starting feb 27. it's now march 4th and still have headaches. went to er, doctor found nothing, did ct scan. prescribed fioricet 5-0-325-40 but pharmacy sub butal-acet-caff 50-325-40, which is not helping headaches. can any one help ## Hello, Dennis! I recently half a CT angiogram to map out my arteries for a Prostate Artery Embolisation. Because I am allergic to contrast dye the radioligist prescribed 5o mg of prednisone the night before and 1 hour before the procedure. It was in tablet form. The side effects of the prednisone were awful ....severe stomach pain, nausea, constant gnawing in stomach, headaches and weight gain. Its over four weeks now and symptoms have lessened but still there. All from only two 50 mg doses. I discussed this with the radioligist and told him that I didn't want to proceed with the Prostate Embolisation because of the prednisone.
