What are negative effects of treating pain with Suboxone while taking 100mg Nortriptiline at bedtime for depression? She lives a sedentary life w/o any exercise and a mitral valve that does not close completely with regurgitation and associated symptoms. ## Both medications can increase sedation, so she may experience a lot of drowsiness and dizziness, as listed by the FDA. I'm a bit concerned - Why does the doctor prescribe epilepsy and bipolar medication to treat a migraine patient? Won't that cause a migraine sufferer to actually develop epilepsy or bipolar? Can Toplep med actually cause damage to a migraine patients and is it safe to use? I'm 5 days on Toplep 50mg.
