How are you feeling? I'm sorry about the problem you've experienced. The inactive ingredients can differ from one manufacturer to the next, so Caraco may have used something that you're sensitive to. There is also a chance that these pills may be a bit stronger than the others, which could also cause these types of symptoms. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ...

Hi i just picked up my percription for zanex at a different pharmacy and they have a imprint of 1 1 on it i was wondering if anybody had anything to say about this type of brand. ## Caraco pharmaceuticals does make the generic Xanax (a.k.a Alprazolam). The specific imprint you have listed describes the generic 2 mg tablets. It seems that they only started making this in the past 5 years or so, but I could be wrong. There is another discussion thread where people are talking about this exact pill in more detail. Check posts # 19, 20, and 25 over there too. Xanax Alprazolam Scored White With Only "11" Imprint. Hope this helps!

Is it like the yellow pill with the cursive V on it (10/325)? That's what I use to get but today I got this. What's the difference? ## They have just been manufactured by different companies, which is common with generics. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. How are you doing taking them? Have you experienced anything unusual? ## CVS just refilled my hydrocodone WITH CARACO/SUN PH. I noticed my insurance didn’t pay a penney as they use to pay a few dollars on my prescription when I had mfr..Mallinckrodt. All about big profits for CVS. Now I feel sick.

Will Carasate act quickly to alleviate abdominal pain from acid reflex problems. I have a hernia in my lower esophagus area that is affected by acid reflex. Also, is Carasate OK to take when you are on the drug OMEPRAZOLE? ## Hi Ken Pettichord, Are you referring to Carafate? Based on my research, the amount of time it takes for Carafate to start working really depends on your own body chemistry. From what I've read, some people have immediate results, and others don''t (results within a few days instead). Unfortunately when it comes to prescription drugs (or any type of medication for that matter), the only real way to find out how a medication will work is to try it for yourself and decide after a few days to a week or so if this drug is really right for you. To answer your...

The drugs store gave me these today I took 2 and what's going on is this an aspirin they do nothing I went from another company to this ## No, these are 10mg Oxycodone regular release tablets, as listed by the manufacturer Caraco Pharmaceuticals. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What type of effects were you expecting? Are they not relieving your pain?

Will phentermine cause carafate to not work ## Hello, Tangie! How are you? No, I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between these two medications, but it's always best to double check to be sure. The FDA classifies Phentermine as a stimulant that is most commonly used to aid in weight loss. It carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia and anorexia. Carafate is used to treat stomach ulcers. Its typical side effects may possibly include constipation, drowsiness, backache and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have the 5mg roxycodone from caraco pharm and they are giving me horrible hives. Ive been on oxycodone for years and never had this reaction. First time ever taking this manufacturer. Has anybody ever had this ## Hello, Scott! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the hives. The inactive ingredients can be completely different from one generic to another, so it might be one of them that you're allergic to. Have you consulted your doctor about the issue? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I am allergic to the fillers in generic oxycodone from Amide, Mallinkrodt, and Ethex as well as M.S. My pharmacy just refilled my oxycodone 30mg Rx with kvk tech instead of Caraco mfg. They look the same and have the same 224 imprint. Does anyone know if this is the same company and same medicine or if it is indeed mfgd by two different ones. If so, what are your thoughts? Caraco has always worked well for me, do you think I should return them? I didn't realize they did this until I drove the hour home from my dr and the pharm where I fill this Rx. ## I have been using BECAUSE you can't get a different co. around here. I have called over a big area. Does your meds have hydrochloride in it? They have changed your meds. This is so you don't feel high so they say. for me don't work for me has a lot of Tylenol in it. I started pristiq 4 weeks ago, not very effective for depression, I take carafate for gastritis 4 times a day too-can it interfere with the antidepressant?? I am thinking it is even though I take it 1-2 hours later than pristiq-I am not responding as I normally do. Thanks, Sandy Maz ## It can take as long as 6 weeks for a medication like Pristiq to reach its full effectiveness in your body, so it could be that it just hasn't reached its peak potential for you, yet. Have you discussed it with your doctor? There is nothing listed about their being a known problem between it and the Carafate, but you should talk to your doctor about it to be certain.

I got this as a refill. Does nothing for the pain from the surgery that i had. The one i had before which was manufactured by Watson i could take one of and be able to not be in pain. With this one i can take 2 as it states on the bottle and it does nothing and i am still in pain. Same script same instructions the only difference is manufacture and this one does nothing for my pain. Care to tell me why? ## Hello, Lori! How are you doing? Sorry that you're in pain. There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one manufacturer to another and you may be sensitive to such changes. The best thing to do, if you can, is to ask your doctor if they can prescribe it as the brand being medically necessary. Is there anything else I can help with?

This stuff is garbage! Doesn't kill the pain and makes me sleepy, which never has happened before. Been in this stuff for years. I'll ask CVS to NOT fill it if they use this company!!! ## Hello, Freda! How are you? I'm very sorry the medication from this manufacturer didn't work for you. Just like any generic, however, it works great for some people, but not everyone. But, you are always free to go to a different pharmacy to see if they carry one from a different manufacturer. I actually always hate the nasty taste I'd get from one my medications and was delighted, when I transferred my prescriptions to a different pharmacy and discovered that they carry one from a different manufacturer that is film coated. I was forced into taking Caraco Norco. This cheap manufacturer should be banned. Mallinkrodt lasted all 6 hours. Caraco when there was some relief with 2 pills lasted only 3 hours. This is how patients O.D. How do we get this ineffective brand banned? Can we get a legal case going against pharmacies for pushing ineffective meds? We have to pay for these meds, we are patients suffering and should be able to trust our medication is good quality. This has to stop. ## The whole premise behind brand vs generic is when the patent runs out for brand a generic is made by the same or another company . The absolute rule from the beginning of generic's is that the are suppose to be exactly equivalent to the brand name. Something extremely dangerous is happening with what some of the cheap comp...

i just want to know if medicade covers carafate in wi ## Hi Brenda, Looking at Medicaid's "Preferred Drug List" for Wisconsin (which was reportedly updated as of 9/26/2014), I'm not seeing Sucralfate (Carafate) listed on there at all. Ref: forwardhealth.wi.gov/WIPortal/Tab/42/icscontent/provider/medicaid/pharmacy/resources.htm So it seems like you may have to actually ask your doctor about an alternative medication for preventing/treating ulcers (which is what this medication is indicated for). If you visit the link above and click on "Preferred Drug List Quick Reference", just scroll down to the last page (#13) and it will have a list of approved medications used for treating "Ulcerative Colitis". I imagine that the drugs listed in this category would be...
