glutaphos dosage ## i wanna know the dosage please..tnx ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. The only thing I can suggest is that you try asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information. ## i wanna know the disadvantages and advantages of taking the glutaphos tablet ## where can i get some so i can take my test ## im recently taking this medicine, but unfortunately it has a side effect of dizziness and headache to me so i stop taking.. ## it's really effective. I had a total thyroidectomy a little over a year ago followed by radioactive iodine just to be sure it was all dead and gone. Before my thyroid cancer I was in pretty good shape as I am a college athlete. Since the surgery I have gained 20 to 30 pounds. People said once I got my tsh levels right I would lose the weight but I only stopped gaining, not losing. My doctor sais they are where they need to be and I am done going up but I do not feel much better than I did before. I still have the fatigue, constipation, extreme heartburn, and brain fog. Is this permanent or are my levels really off and just not showing? HELP! I'm still in college and my grades are really taking a hit from all this! ## Well, you did not say what dosage you were on and this site is not medical professionals,...

glutaphos daily dosage ## Glutaphos is a supplement, not a medication, is claimed to help with brain function and cognitive abilities. It contains: 325mg GLUTAMIC Acid, 200mg DICALCIUM Phosphate, 5mg THIAMINE hydrochloride and 10mcg VITAMIN B12. The regular dosage is listed as 1 tablet daily, or 2 after strenuous mental activity. Do you have any other questions? ## what are the contraindications if any? ## Sidz, since it is a supplement, as I said, rather than a mediation, that information isn't studied for it, as it is for medications. So, we have no way of knowing if there are any contraindications. Very sorry, I wish I could help you! Does anyone have more information on this? ## what is the best time to take such drug?? ## I used to take glutaphos before and its really effective...

Hi there- I have suffered from M.E. for 11 years- which, I know, has very similar symptoms to hypothyroid- Anyway, I had to have blood tests done for a private clinic in 2010- My GP did these tests, but I was never called in to discuss the results... Luckily, my nutritionist picked up on the low level of serum ferritin(7) and started me on a gentle Iron preparation- But my TSH levels were 5.13 and T4 14- My M.E. seemed to be worsening, especially 'brainfog'- and I have been through the Menopause now- so I asked for more tests and my thyroid levels are now TSH 5.30 and T4 12- I have had no help from my Doctors in 11 years so it was no surprise when, instead of calling in(I'mhousebound) A GP who I have never seen, rang me- Said it was 'my call' if I wanted to start med...

What are the side effects? Can I take it continuously? Does the body adjust and I might have to increase the amount I take? I am having trouble turning my brain off at night, I also take 75 mg of Elavil. ## Yea your body does adjust and you do have to take more ## Zopiclone can help you fall asleep faster, and help prevent frequent wake ups, so your quality of sleep may improve overall. The NHS lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, a bitter or metallic taste, next day tiredness. Ref: Zopiclone Information And as with any other medication, yes, your body may get used to it, which could result in your having to change your dosage, or try a different medication. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was put on Warfarin after a stroke in 2003. I worked very hard to keep my INR just right, it takes a lot of work. Eating green leafy vegies drives the INR down, so you would have to add higher daily dosage to get it back. If it gets to high they will tell you to stop taking for a couple days. Shortly after starting to take Warfarin I noticed discoloration on lower legs (my chemical tan). Then a little over a year later I started having headaches that were not normal. The kind that if you were driving and came to an intersection, you could not turn your head without discomfort. I went in and asked if I should have a CAT scan. They said if they saw anything they would call, and I live less than a mile from hospital. When I got home they were on the phone and requesting that I come back ...

In the past I have been prescribed .25 mg alprazolam (Xanax) to take as needed. I would take about one a month. I am 46 years old with mild TBI (traumatic brain injury), seasonal depression and PTSD. I am unusual in having zero problems of drug addiction: I am super careful in monitoring my reactions to all medications, will never take anything other than as prescribed, and will still never take anything until first I've researched by myself its dosage, reactions to other medications, dangers and side effects and decided that the prescription is indeed worth taking. My current psychiatrist does not want to prescribe me Xanax, stating that it will cause permanent brain damage. I do not want to take Xanax if indeed just taking it once causes permanent brain damage! However, previously...

From that time he has been using Acitrom 3mg and now its dosage been reduced to 2mg. Last month the neuro surgeon(one who stopped the medicines previously) has asked to reduce the intake to twice a week, monday and thursday. And this month he told that this medicine has to be stopped. But in the same time, since this is his second time, the neurologist has strictly told that this medicine should be eaten throughout his lifetime. Neurosurgeon is telling this medicine might become poisonous to him if eaten more than a year. Please help! ## Did you ask the neurosurgeon what he would like him to take in its place? I am very glad that it has worked so well for you. And yes, that is correct, side effects will normally subside after 4 to 6 weeks, when your body gets used to the medication. I'd also like to add that if one medication doesn't work for you, there are others that you can try. Are there any questions or comments?

My brother had a stroke in the left side of his brain and is paralyzed on the right side of his leg and hand, and has no voice. After being discharged from the hospital, his doctor has advised strocit 500mg trice in a day. Please tell me if it's the correct dosage? My brother's age is 37. Along with this medicine he also prescribed ecospirin and atorva 40mg. How long should my brother use this medicine? ## He should take them as long as his doctor instructs him to do so and in the dosages his doctor instructs, otherwise, he could be at risk of experiencing another stroke. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and joint/muscle aches. How is he doing? Has there been any change?

Will my brain return to normal.. It effects my spirit negativly and im very lethargic ## The lethargy is really normal, when you're on any type of antipsychotic, that's part of how they work. And yes, you should eventually return to normal, but I can't give you a better idea of when, since I don't know how long you were on it, or what your dosage was. Learn more Paliperidone details here. Can you post back with more details?

can pristiq and zoloft be taken together? ## Since they both have effects on Serotonin levels in the brain, using them together does increase the risk of someone developing Serotonin Syndrome, which can be very dangerous. Learn more Pristiq details here. Learn more Zoloft details here. So, if they are taken together, then the dosage must be taken under careful consideration by their doctor and they should be monitored closely to watch for any danger signs. I've started bystolic a few weeks ago. My Dr changed the dosage and I am now on 15 mg a day at 8 hour intervals. Since taking this as instructed, I've had a burning sensation through my upper body, even up into my neck and head. I have had reflux issues, but I can't distinguish this from a possible side effect. My father died of a brain stem stroke, and this sensation creates a lot of anxiety for me. Does anyone else suffer from this burning sensation? It is not in my extremeties. Thank you! ## Have you consulted your doctor? You should consult them any time that you experience ofd symptoms, even if you think they are medication side effects. it was prescribed to me for a bad cough im just wondering if it has codeine in it thanks ## One dosage had me very dizzy and woozy for awhile. ## Hi Krusher, Based on my research, this medication does contain Codeine as well as Guaifenesin. Codeine is a narcotics and is used as a cough suppressant that affects the signals in the brain that trigger cough reflex. Guaifenesin works as an expectorant. It helps loosen congestion in your chest and throat, making it easier to cough out through your mouth. Some side effects include: dizziness, drowsiness, headache, warmth, redness, or tingling under your skin, nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, constipation, skin rash or itching. Seek emergency medical attention if you experience any of the following serious side effects: severe dizziness or drow...

My pharmacy has recently changed the manufacturer from whom they order generic Paroxetine. Are they ANY side effects a patient could encounter from this change? The dosage is the same. I have been experiencing bad headaches and backache since the switch (6 days). ## Yes, I get brain zaps which is what some people experience when quitting this medication. I take it faithfully & everything was fine until they started making generics & I have symptoms as if I skipped a few days of taking this medication. ## The most likely culprit is a different filler or binder that is used in the manufacturing process. See if your pharmacy will be willing to order the other manufacturer’s product especially for you. It’s not unusual for them to do this. However, be warned that there i...
