I have been taking pantium pantoprazole 40mg. While on holidays I discovered actavis pantoorazol 40mg (much cheaper). I m presuming the two are the same , just different manufacturers. I am 64 yrs old and diagnosed for mitral valve prolapse. My cardiologist prescribed to me concor 5mg. I feel pain after taking the concor 5 so i reduced it to 2.5mg yet i still feel a the pain. I have decided to cut in half the 2.5mg but still i feel some pain. Shall i continue taking it. I have a normal blood pressure. ## What type of pain? Generally body aches, or stomach pain? I have COPD and am also on strong pain medication. I just turned 70. Are these body jerks and twitches part of getting old? Every time I mention it to my Dr he basically ignores the question. I had anal cancer. After treatments I suffered with pain in the anal area only. Four months later the pain doctor prescribed Lyrica. After one month I had trouble walking the underneath of my feet hurt. Then my right hand would not close and my fingers would not bend and caused severe pain. My whole body now aches like I was 100 yeas old. Sometimes I can't even pick up a piece of paper. I have mentioned all my aches and memory loss, blurred vision with him. Now he says I have developed fybromalgia and osteo arthritis because of the trauma of my cancer treatments. I was switched by my cardiologist from Lisinopril to Losartan because of the coughing caused by Lisinopril. Since taking Losartan 100 mg once a day I have experienced muscle aches from my shoulder all the way down the back to my thighs. It feels like I was doing a heavy workout. My VA Dr. said he didn't think it was from the Losartan. I see my regular Dr. in June and am going to inform him. I read somewhere that Linzess BLOCKS PAIN SIGNALS. If that is so...I'm concerned. Pain is our bodies way of letting us know something is wrong. I was disappointed the first two weeks because I saw very little to almost no change. I stuck with it and now it is working. Since taking this inhaler - My breathing has improved greatly - but I am in extreme pain - don't want to stop taking - pain is better than not breathing. Got one month to before my 90 days on xarelto is over. I have been experiencing severe pain in my knees, ankles, hips and elbows. Never had this pain prior to the medication.
