This is generic Fioricet (Butalbital 325mg / Acetaminophen 50mg / Caffeine 40mg) pain medication prescribed for severe migraine and sinus headaches. It has been around for decades. It is not an opiate and this is not considered a "scheduled medication", (yet, the brand name of this medication "Fiorinal" IS labeled a schedule III controlled drug). I have a round blue pill with an imprint that looks like a backwards "j" / umbrella. It also looks like a "t", next to "247" imprinted on the pill. ## Alvogen Inc. lists this tablet as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen, 50mgs of Butalbital and 40mgs of Caffeine, it is available over the counter, and commonly used to treat migraines and tension headaches.
