Bactrim 160 Mg 800

My doctor told me it would be ok to take these two drugs together. They both state that nausea can be a side effect. When I was taking the Bactrim I had no symptoms but the day I took both, my stomach hurt for three days and of course I did not take another vyvanse since. I am writing because when I used to take Adderal and drink coffee a few hours before, I would have the same symptoms and now. since I had coffee just before taking these pills, I am wondering if the coffee is the cause and not the combined pills. thanks ## Hello, Luke! Thanks!! ## Hi CC, Sorry to hear about your horses condition. From what little bit I'm finding, some people suggest giving one 800/160 mg. Bactrim tablet per 100 lbs of horse (basing their dosage on the weight of the horse). Although I'd imagine this number could vary greatly depending on the severity of the condition. I also realize you posted this almost a week ago, but it sounds like your best bet would probably be to consult a veterinary clinic who specializes in horse treatment. Pill imprint H 49 has been identified as Sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim 800 mg / 160 mg, is this the same as the pill IP 272? On September 6, 2016 I was prescribed Bactrim DS 800-160 for an ingrown hair turning turning into an abscess. Today about an hour ago I've developed hives and a rash on my throat. Am I having a possible allergic reaction? I took benadryl about 20 minutes ago and it is still the same if not worst. ## I am anaphylactic to the antibiotic but didn't know till the second dose in a year that both times caused aseptic meningitis. The second time also caused my throat to swell. I took 75mg of Benadryl and 20 mg Pepcid (also a antihistamine). Bactrim is so bad in Europe they have banned it but in America that's one of the #1 antibiotics they prescribe. Stop the prescription and call your dr.
