methotrexate , are supplements advisable?
Having been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis (though psoriasis has always been super mild), I have just started taking 10mg methotrexate once a week followed by 5mg of folic acid for 2 days. Is it recommended to take a vitamin supplement (if so , which?) or any other supplement to compensate for weakening of the immune system (if so, which)? Also, which pain killers are most effective and least harmful to liver etc? Thankyou! ...

I'm a 59 year old female, diagnosed with Behcet's Disease and I use Prednisone for treatment for my weekly flares. The Prednisone is hard on my bones and has caused me to get osteoporosis in my hips. I had my first infusion of Zometa six days ago. I thought I was going to die from the side effects. I had 103 degree fever for five days, deep bone pain everywhere, muscle pain, flu like symptoms, migraine headache, burning eyes, pale skin, restlessness, and no appetite. Today six days later I'm still fatigued, pale, mild bone pain, mild muscle pain and no appetite. I reported these side effects to my doctor. lo loestrin fe and no period
I started taking lo loestrin for the first time a few days before my period on jan 2 2014. I was still getting use to the Times i would take them so i took them at different times on some days I had intercourse on that same day not protected. I then had breakthrough bleeding within 6days after taking the pill, and stopped the pill immediatly on jan 8 2014 due to really painful cramps. The break through bleeding stopped on jan 13 2014. I was wondering how long would it take my cycle to start after only taking this birth control for a week? Methadone works great for me
I have a fused disc, two crushed vert., arthritus, etc... I am very lucky from what I have read here. First I was on Vicodin ,muscle relaxers, anti- inflamitories. I would monthly clear out my system and take notjing for a week. My Dr decided to change my meds because I built up such a tolorance to VICODIN. Now I take methadone 30mlg 3xday and Vicodin 7.5 for breakthru pain. I also have muscle relaxers. I thae 800mlg of Ibuprophin when I really over do tohelp with the inflamation. The only thing I don't like is tat I can't not take Methadone, I mean go off for aweek to give my body a break like the Vicodin. I also take Cymbalta. I have never felt so good in my life. I did go off the methadone at first because of people in my areas comments about it they hads no idea what they we... ...
