what to say to dr. to get methadone for legs?
About 3 years I was working on a telephone tower and I fell 15 feet to the ground. I severely hurt my legs. My dr. prescribed me percocets for a few months, but then stopped me on them because he felt I should be better and doesn't believe in long term pain management. Well I continually bring to his attention the severe pain i have from my prior injury and he tells me that there is nothing he can do about it. I have been referred to another dr. by some friends, whom I go see in a few days. I really would like his help with pain management. I have heard that his pain management choice is methadone, which I have tried before and it really helped but, I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions as to what I can say to be sure that he will take my pain seriously and start me on ... ...

morphine sulfate
Does anyone take Kadian and how is it, how long does it last, it is not very strong to me ## In response to the question about Kadian, I have taken it in a dosage of 12 to 20 100mg capsules per day. It is basically morphine sulfate, and the thing I do like about it is that it kills the pain more in the body as opposed to the brain, so you feel more normal. The down side is that is makes you sleepy sometimes, causes more constipation than Oxy, or Feninyl, and has a ceiling around 2 grams/day, in other words beyond that amount there is no additional relief when taking more of the med. Overall, I have found that I can take it once a day along with 4 30mg Oxycondone IR in the morning and two to four 10mg Valiums at bed time. That way I wake up in some pain, but can go to the bathroom, and t... ...
