I was diagnosed 5 years ago with DDS and at first by back pain was minimal. After a year or so it began to get bad enough for me to see the Dr. every 3 months or so for a prescription of Oxycodone and 800mg Ibuprofen. I have since moved and my Dr I have now told me flat out he would not give me "narcotics". Why do Dr's treat us this way. I have medical records showing my valid medical issue. I was taking Oxycodone 15 now for 2 years and it's not working as well. Now my doctor put me on Percocet 10/325 that really does not work unless I take 2. I am 60 yrs old have been in methadone clinic but have buisness trips where I'm gone 3-5 days or 2 weeks to China Need perscription for methadone while away. Any help? ## Have you tried asking them if they can make any suggestions on a doctor you could see? Methadone can be prescribed for home use, in some states, though I am not sure what the laws are in NJ. Even doing a search for clinics there doesn't really help, because even if they can, we have no way of knowing if they will prescribe it that way. Have you spoken to a regular doctor about it?

I have been in pain management for 8 years but am having a problem finding a dr that will perscribe the same thing, and unfortunately narcotics r the only thing that make me function and I've tried everything out there. I have been on 4 bottles per month for over 6 years. My primary care doctor no longer sees patients and his nurse practitioner sees all of his patients. I currently was seeing this suboxone doctor in virginia about 3 months after i moved there. After being down there flr 8 months i needed to move back home because i was getting married had children ect.ect.
