Antibiotic For Headache Weakness

Been on 500mg Levequin for 3 days now. I'm experiencing weakness, a bit of confusion, dizziness, unsteady on my feet, and droopy eyelids. Extremely tired. I also have pain behind the eyes. Dr. prescribed this for my sinus infection. I don't feel right !!! Any info would be appreciated. Thank you ! ## The FDA does list those as being possible side effects of this antibiotic. I have been on these tablets for 5 days now as I have tonsilitis and a chest infection.Once day 3 came i have been feeling weak in my legs like i cant walk and also have a draining feeling in my arms like dead arms. I am on augmentin and when I started taking I stoped wanting to do things around the house and I didn't want to go anywhere. My legs got weak and thought I would fall if I walked a long ways.I was afraid to go anywhere because I was to weak to walk ## Hello, Denise! How are you? I was prescribed sulfatrim DS for a minor bladder infection. Today is my second day taking it (fourth dose). I am now experiencing weakness, anxiety, minor headache, some itching of the skin, achy muscles and joints, pounding in chest, and just a general sense of illness. I started taking Amoxicillin 500mg for three days I have stopped taking it because I've noticed mild weakness in my legs and arms how longs does it take amoxicillin to leave my system and for me to feel normal again? ## If you only took it for a few days, it shouldn't take long, at all, maybe a week. My father was recently prescribed levofloxacin for a sinus infection. He is 81 years old and has diabetes. He has now been off the drug for over three weeks but is still experiencing weakness and confusion. He did not have these problems before taking this medication. Is there a possibility he could still be having a reaction this long after he stopped taking the drug? ## That would be very unusual, it usually only takes a week, or so for things to return to normal, once someone finishes their course of treatment, according to NIH reports, as well as my own experience taking antibiotics.
