I have an 18 year old son , has a dry cough. Is co trimoxazole 500mg good for him. i complained to my dr about a dry cough i was having after pneumonia sickness. He prescribed methylprednisolone 4mg Can I take mucinex to help ? ## I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between the two, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure. I am using Levocetrizine + Montelukast for Dermatographic urticaria for last 2 days 1 dose in evening after food. Usage of this medicine is leading to cough symptoms . I just finished 6 days of 500 mg Zithromax, and the 6 day medrol dose pack....3rd antibiotic in a month. Started achiness, dry cough in October, took 250mg zpack 5 days....better for 14 days, jogged in the cold, work around kids.... Right ear and side of throat started hurting 2nd week of Nov...
