plz send detail of amtas-at and amlong h tablets side effect. thanks ## I have a lady who works for me, she gets her medication from the government for free. She visits the Clinic once a month. She is on a high blood pressure pills called Austell AMLODIPINE 5mg but last week she was given Amtas AMLODIPIENBESILAAT10. She has concerns that this medication will be different and maybe even harmful. She only gets an appointment once a month and can therefore not go back to the Clinic right now. JANUVIA or JANUMET
i was on Amtas AT for 2 years and after that suddenly my blood sugar started rising. I don't have any family history of diabetes. Now am taking Januvia because Janumet though being more effecting in controlling my sugar is causing side effects like loss of apatite and vomit like sensation. 1) Are these side effects normal, if so, can i keep taking janumet as januvia doesn't control my sugar that well. 2)Is my diabetes due to prolonged use of Amtas AT ? I have been taking this tablet ( losacar H ) with amtas AT for the past seven years for my BP. Now my BP Is well under control. Is there any harm in continuing the tablet for years together? ## While there are always risks associated with using any medication long-term, the risks to you are far greater if you stop taking them and let your blood pressure get out of control. Has your doctor been running occasional blood tests to check your liver and kidney function? If those tests show no abnormalities and the medications are still working for you, then there is no need to switch or change your regimen, unless your doctor advises you to do otherwise.
