why amc500 pill use in pimples problem. ## @sangita, AMC 500 reportedly contains 500mgs of amoxicillin + 125mgs of clavulanate potassium, which is used for treating a variety of bacterial infections (including skin infections). I don't know if your pimples are the result of a skin infection, but if they are, then that would probably explain why your doctor prescribed it to you. As far as side effects are concerned, are you currently experiencing any symptoms from taking this antibiotic or are you just curious about what potential side effects can happen? It might be easiest to speak to your doctor about prescribing an alternative medication that would be easier to find. Another idea is that if you have a pharmacy you use regularly, you could try asking them to order it in for you.
