yellow and black oblong capsule, with a picture of something followed by 2407. It is supposed to be tetracyclene, but the bottle states that mylan 102 should be printed on each pill. ## Based on the description provided, I can confirm your yellow and black capsule to be Tetracycline hydrochloride (500 mg). It sounds like there was some sort of mix up at the pharmacy with the manufacturers. The marking Mylan 102 comes up as the same exact yellow and black capsule as 2407. The only difference I noticed is in the manufacturers of these pills. Additionally, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients, but other than that you can be assured that they are the same drug and same dosage. How high a dose of Imodium can I give my husband who I 6 foot 5 and weighs 240 pounds? ## Hello, Susan! How are you and your husband? You should follow the dosing instructions on the package, unless his doctor has instructed otherwise. The FDA lists the typical Imodium side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have a tropical flavored hydrocodone-apap liquid but it doesn't say the strength?!! How much wud I need to take to equal 1 yellow 10/325 norco? It says take 1 teaspoon every 4-6 hrs for cough. Or am I way off and the whole bottle won't equal 1? Lol ## The bottle should have the amount of medication in 5 cc's on the bottle. Are there any numbers on the bottle after the name of the medication ? ## If it's hydrocodone/acetaminophen sol, it's 7.5/325 per 15 ml meaning 7.5 mgs hydrocodone, 325 Tylenol if it's the new sol, older formula has 500mg acetaminophen(Tylenol) so you would need 20ml to get 10mg. Be careful of Tylenol tho. New recommended dose is 3000mg per day. Now if its cough syrup, it's tussinex , is it super thick? That's 10mg hydrocodone per 5 m...

Been trying to feel prescription for (11) Days I live n Metro Atlanta Georgia Need to know A Pharmacy that carries It ## Barbe, If you cannot find a pharmacy that carries it find a pharmacy that does "compounding" as they will be absolutely able to make this up for you. The doctor may have written it for a different amount than is carried in the box. Again a pharmacy that does "compounding."

My husband has a very painful back. He was injured as a child when he was hit by a car. As an adult he now has arthritis in his hip and neck. He is going to a pain clinic and is given only 4 hydrocodone 7.5/500 per day to control his pain. He weighs 240 lbs. What should he be getting? He has had to take 5 per day to relieve his pain. I believe he should be getting at least 5 per day because of his weight. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Jet ## Narcotic pain medications aren't generally prescribed according to someone's weight. They are usually prescribed according to the severity of their pain and any tolerance that may, or may not exist, to narcotic opiates. For some people, even at the same weight as your husband, this dosage taken 4 times a day would be too muc...

I am trying to find out where to fill my prescription for the Oxycodone HCL 30 mg #240 which I take 8 a day. I have been taking this medication for 5 to 6 years and I now have no insurance because no insurance will insure me because of my degentrative back disease which I had surgery for in March 2009 and did not help. I sitll go to Bon Secours Pain Mgmt in Portsmouth Va and have been going to for the past 10 years for this problem. I need help so I don't have to pay over $200 for this prescription. Thank you ## There are currently no patient assistance programs for this, since it is a generic and there isn't even one for the name brand Roxicodone. Have you ever tried Oxycontin, the time released formulation, which would only require a twice daily dosing? Purdue Pharma does have...

I have been taking this medication for quite a while and lately my blood pressure has been low. I just took it and it was 126/56/52. Do I have a problem? ## That's not very low. Normal is considered 120/80, with lower being better. The 126 is normal and the 56 on the bottom is slightly low, but not normally a concern if it's not causing you any symptoms, such as dizziness. Was the 52 your heart rate? If so, that is slightly low and you should talk to your doctor about these readings, including the blood pressure. Have you had any tests done recently, such as an EKG? Is there a chance that you're dehydrated? Learn more Diltiazem details here.

Just an FYI. I woke up in the hospital on a respirator after my teenage son found me. This was not intentional. I developed pneumonia. Oh! I woke up deaf. I couldn't hear for two days. My kidneys failed and I was on dialysis for 8 weeks. My overall hospital stay was almost four weeks. My family noticed a marked difference in my personality. Two years later I'm finally more like myself. I still take my pain meds, I developed an allergy to ambien and was told to never take any kind of anti inflammatory again! IMO most OD's are combos. I have what the street calls the trinity. Hydro, sometimes Oxy, muscle relaxers, and two different benzo's. Scares me that one day my body will say, "Nope, no more" and I will wake up in the hospital again or die. My back pain is debi...

I've been taking 240 Percocet 10/325 for over 10 yrs with 60 mg MS Contin twice a day for breakthrough pain. When I'm out of the blue my doctor sends me to a pain management specialist because he says he can't write for any narcotic over 120 tabs a month. I go to this new doc who wants to inj. something in my spine in an area he calls the sweet spot, and that I have been over medicated by my other doctor but only after a MRI which I had and I went back after my scan and it turns out I don't have a sweet spot. My thecal sac is 5.4 and gets worse the lower it goes. So he sends me to a surgeon with a script for Percocet 15 mg and it's not touching my pain. I was wondering if I should request something stronger? I was at least able to function with my old med plan but I...
