What pill is this? I had a refill done at walmart pharm.for requip 0.5mg. This does not look like my normal pills. ## I cannot find a listing for this, however, I can tell you that the way a pill looks means nothing. Once a medication is available in generic form, it is usually made by many different companies and pharmacies will carry whichever one had the cheapest available when they were placing their restock orders. If you are in doubt, then please take your bottle to Wal-Mart and ask them to double check for you.

I had been taking suboxone for over 4 years but was recently switched to the buprenorphine without the naloxone because of my severe renal impairment. This also causes me a lot of nausea and vomiting, so the switch actually helped me a lot, but still these pills I get at my pharmacy are so big I have issues getting them down properly. I know they discontinued the really tiny ones, but does anyone know of a manufacturer who is currently making a smaller version? I'm currently taking the RP/b8 ones. I'm supposed to get my refill in a few days and I'd really like to switch, so any thoughts or info on this would be helpful, thank you! ## You're supposed to take them sublingual not swallow (suck them under tongue till they dissolve) hold in your mouth for about 10 minutes. This is a veternarian medication. Hard to find any info on ## I'm sorry, I can't find a listing for this either, but as a veterinary medication this isn't really surprising, because our information is geared for human medications. Have you tried asking the vet that prescribed it? ## My doggie was given this as a tranquilizer after being spayed. I was trying to find out what kind it was. ## Sounds like the pill you have is Acepromazine. It is a very strong canine sedative. A quarter of a pill is enough to sedate a small dog up to 25 lbs. Do not give to puppies.

What is a round yellow flat pill with "novo | 40" on one side and blank on the other? It was given to me for pain. ## Hi Chris, A 'D-shaped' light brown (may be perceived as yellow) pill marked with novo 40 is reportedly identified as famotidine 40 mg, made by Teva in Canada. For verification, the Drug Identification Number (DIN) is listed as 02022141. Famotidine is marketed for use in treating symptoms of GERD, stomach ulcers and heartburn, among other uses. If you think your pill may be different, I would probably recommend contacting Teva Canada directly just to get a second opinion since the shape or color may be changed by the manufacturer without any prior public announcement. Hope this helps! ## I found a yellow round pill with 40 on one side and novo on the other...
