Mike there is no difference between 10mg Methadone made by Roxane or Mallinkrodt and Methadone is actually generic for 10mg dolophine. However, again there is no difference, 10mg dolophine is = to 10mg Roxane or Mallinkrodt. They are the same, However you can't get dolophine in the USA. I go to pain management and I get 510 10mg pills a month, but I asked for dolophone and my Dr. said pharmacies don't carry dolophine, they only carry methadone 5mg and 10 mg, Pharmacies are no longer able to dispense 40mg Diskettes.

Longley - the pill which you are describing (white round pill with AN over 627) is actually a 50 mg Tramadol manufactured by Amneal.

To Nick: Where did you get the Methadone from if you don't mind me asking? Do you know what the country of origin is for the pills? Also, what color is the pill? Reason I ask is because it's not coming up under my standard domestic pill search so I may need to do more detective work. The closest thing which I might have found is a 75 mg pill, but it is Effexor, NOT Methadone (I don't even think Methadone comes in 75 mg). It's sort of an odd shape, peach in color, with a score mark above 704 on one side, and a W (could be mistaken for an M if read upside down) over 75 on the other side. See an image HERE. Is this what you have?
And Jumbo, to answer your question ... not that I know of. The largest dose I have seen is a 40 mg.

To Jumbo and Nick, the highest dose that Methadone comes in is 40mg, there is no such thing as a 50mg or 75mg of Methadone in the USA. Maybe in another country, but I doubt it, because other countries normally follow the status quo on the strength of medications, but I could be wrong. I do know that neither exist in this Country.

Harry there is no difference between liquid Methadone or pill form of Methadone. The liquid might act faster, other than that one is not stronger than the other. Trust me I've been on Methadone for Pain Management for 15 years.
To Sally Methadone stays in your system longer than heroin, usually 7-10 days, However it has a cumulative effect. If taken everyday for a long period than it can stay in your system for a month because it has a 24-36 hour half-life.

Once a drug is available for generic production, it is made by many, many different companies. So, unfortunately, there is no way I could possible describe them all to you, as they will all have different markings on them, to enable identification by company and dosage and each can also be a different size, shape and color according to the whim of the manufacturer.
If you can get ahold of one of the pills and give me the description and imprint, I will gladly look it up for you and check what it is.

Peter, the pill which you are describing M T7 is not Methadone. It is actually 50 mg Tramadol, manufactured by Mylan. You can see a picture with description on the manufacturer's site:
