My daughter died @ 24 cuz of mixing pills and i say stay on top of it. No matter their age. After all their suppose to bury us not us bury our kids. That's the natural order of life.

There is a light yellow, round tablet with the Alvogen logo and the numbers 230 on the opposite side that contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, a generic for Percocet, it is narcotic pain reliever.

Opiate addiction is horrible and takes 7-10 of acute withdrawal. Opiates also kill, especially when taken with benzodiazapenes

I have been prescribed that medicine due to dental problems & lots of pain.

I am glad that your site showed this medication on the web, as I could not find it. I was told it was a generic for Percocet. 10-325, also known as oxycodone-acetamine 10-325. Even though this should have been very easy to find on all of the various pill/medication websites available, it was not. I myself have never seen this variation of Percocet 10/325, and was hesitant to take this medication without further investigation, to make sure it was indeed what it was supposed to be. Again thank you so much on your much needed and informative site.

The Alvogen brand of Oxycodone APAP is not as effective as the Watson brand. The re can legally be a 20% difference in the "pain" medication part of these drugs. They are 10mg Oxycodone and 325mg of generic Tylenol. Target and some Walgreen's stock the Alvogen brand and if you are in very bad pain, I suggest you avoid this brand.

I agree that the Watson brand is a lot better. I know it's true with Lortab - Norco's (Hydrocodone+APAP)
I have various health issues, Watson is the brand that I've found does best with my pain. So, I agree that it would be the best or at least one of the best for Percocet (oxycodone+APAP) Watson is a great generic brand in medication. I think since it's not name brand that any type of insurance even Medicaid should cover it.

So sorry for your loss. You are so right about the people you meet in rehab!! It can be a very life changing, positive change- if and ONLY if the person wants the help & the amount of continuous daily work that it takes to stay that way. Nine times out of ten, if their not ready, their going to come out of that place with several new connections, new buddies, and most likely new ideas for trying new drugs.

Mike, you should run to the authorities and turn yourself in for any and all law breaking activity. Even if you were a dumb kid that did what dumb kids do. No second chance, lock you up and throw away the key. 6 or 8 months of rehab for A pill....
compassion works better than forced attrition. We have NO details other than this lady found a pill in her sons room. Who knows....maybe it was dropped on the floor by someone else.

I am a pill addict myself. The withdrawals are horrible. But the fact that when I do not have medicine the pain from my back and knee makes me realize I do need the medicine. But with no insurance and having to find them off the street makes me an addict. But on the flip side of mixing pills. I do not do that! We just buried my sister in law on New year's eve for mixing pills. 90 clonopin (unsure of spelling) & 120 Somas in four days. The Norco and the oxycotin are not as bad as the muscle relaxers. Taking too many puts your whole respiratory system to sleep. And as far as sending someone to rehab. If they are not ready they will sit there waiting to get out and use. And you meet some of the best drug dealers in rehab. It's a be damned if you do and be rammed if you don't.

I have been taking Percocet in different doses shapes & sizes for the past 15 years. With APP & without... I find absolutely have find very very very little difference (I say three times) between the different generic on the market & I find it bizarre that these people say they find drastic differences between them. I see a Less then 5% difference between manufactures.... Living in south Florida,Surviving thru the Pill Mill fiasco & swept clear thru the other side. The Tamper resistant Oxy-Contin & the unavailability of 15 & 30 mg IR has changed the market here in Florida. God luck to my brothers & sister here in the sunshine state..
