i found a white oval pill with 176 on it and one line on the other side. no other markings, just 176 and the line. found in my daughter's car while driving it. cant find it anywhere online. please help. thanks

I was about to say something but you said it correct.HYDRO, NORCO AND VICODIN ARE ALL THE SAME. I FEEL SORRY FOR THIS ADDICITION. I JUST WENT THROUGH WITHDRAWALS BECAUSE THE DAMN VA WANTED ME TO EXPERIENCE IT . NO OTHER EXCUSE CAUSE THEY REALLY SCREWED UP. THREE WEEKS INTO DOUBLE WHAMMY, HYDRO AND MY DIAZEPAM BOTH. VALIUM IS FOR MY TBI.

So basically do nothing and monitor your kids activities? I would go straight to her and ask her where it came from. Don't wait till her life falls apart and does something bad because you didn't want to help, you just wanted to watch. Congrats on having 5 successful children, not a tough task if you care a little.

Dear concerned. Not always true! I take them off & on still. When my Tylenol 3 don't work. I take Tylenol 3 & other for along time. Few years. I take them (both kinds) for my headaches & migraines. Never leads me to other drugs at all. Or I'm smarter then not to come to that.

I am Doctor and received my degree from John Hopkins University and I will tell you the pill you found is a Generic Narco. The advice given by the nurse was incorrect. Any time you have a question about a Medication please contact Poison Control or take it to a pharmacist.

Normally my pills will say 10/325 never 176, I should of called pharmacy right away but instead I look it up.its unusual they give discription for instant ,being oval or oblong on the bottle this didnt .it says 10/325 on bottle not on pill,I was surprised,it's suppose to be norco.

Is this true? What are your experiences with this? Anyone else doing this? I've been taking generic norco 10/325 for years now. I've definitely noticed a difference in effectiveness and/or side effects between the various generic mfg companies (Watson [white vs. yellow], Mallinkrodt, Qualitest, Sun Caraco). But for the most part it's been Watson a majority of the time, with the others peppered in very sporadically. I will get nauseous, headache and nodding off sleepy, depending on which one it is and how many I've taken. I have trained myself to take 6 per day MAX; often I will only take 5 in a day, and on very painful days (nights, actually), I will end up at 7. The headaches and general lousy feelings almost always coincide when I hit 7. Anyone else have thoughts about this or have similar experiences?

I am a nurse and a prudent one at that. I look up all pills that I give or am not familiar with. No that nurse should not have made a blanket statement like that. However she may have not been doing her due diligence when responding. People that are addicted to certain medications know a lot more than any of us because they experiment with different ways to use it. Including trying to make it.
