Yes, it is the new Oxycontin OP, they have been specifically designed to help prevent abuse of the medication.
There have been many complaints that they do not work as well for pain as the original Oxycontin.
I advise you to call Purdue and the FDA to let them know of the problems you are having with it:

the new OP oxycontin tablets contain a cellulose derivative, which is almost impossible for the human body to break down, that's what slowing down the pills method of action. we lack the enzyme to break down cellulose. it was stupid for them to put it in a pill. i suggest grinding them down to a powder and NOT SNORTING IT, just take the powder orally and it should work faster.

Opana is totally a different kind of drug. It is a mix of morphine AND oxycodone.
