Oxycodone 30mg Pain Clinics (Page 69)

i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you.

I would like to know if anyone can help me to find a dr. That will presdribe oxicodone 30 in st. Petersburg FL I am moving here and I have a very bad chronic pain and I know how hard it is to get a dr. I am in a lot of pain and I need a dr. Thank you very much for your help.

I know this post is 5yrs old but I totally agree with you. I've been in chronic pain since '99. Had 1st back surgery and 2nd in 2000, which was a spinal fusion. I was only 29yrs old. Now my hips are screwed up from walking off kilter for 17yrs and need a right hip replacement. In 2009 I was referred to an awesome pain management and was being prescribed 30mg ER morphine 3 x's a day. Was able to work and was excited about not having to miss out on life because of hurting so bad. I was living again...then my hip went out and I lost my job. While I was fighting to get my disability I wasn't able to go to the doctor due to not having the money. Didn't mean I wasn't still taking something but of course you can't tell a doctor that. Got my disability an another referral to go back to the same place. I had my first appt last month and wanted to go postal on the place. They still had my records so they knew what all meds I was on. The doctor told me he could ONLY prescribe me TWO 5mg hydrocodone a day because I took 1mg of Xanax twice a day and there could be serious effects from combining those combinations. FREAKING REALLY?? Before I started going to them the 1st time, my GP prescribed me SIX 10mg of hydro and FOUR 2mg Xanax a day (would never take that many Xanax a day because I wanted to function). I'm still alive!! Never had any kind of serious effects from combining those then. Even told him that. Reminded him I was taking morphine and Xanax together for 6yrs. He still refused to prescribe more than the 2. I was like fine but insisted they test me so he could see that I'm not some kind of a junkie. I go back on the 11th and I've decided that I'm going to be straight up with him about how it's easier to just buy off the street and know I'll be out of pain instead of having a bottle in front of me and be in so much pain but know you can't take anymore than the 2 a day because they can call you at anytime for a pill count. IT'S TORTURE AND MENTAL ABUSE!!! I only sleep about 4hrs a night so I'm up around 7am. Take 1st pill. By 10 or 11am I'm needing to take the second one. So from around 3pm to 3am I have to deal with some serious pain. I'm taking 6 ibuprofen every 4hrs during this time frame, so I'm killing my kidneys. I've completely stopped living again. Don't/Can't go out and do anything because it causes more pain and I'm constantly stressing and sitting around so tensed up afraid to move for fear of if I do the pain will amp up. I have no life!! I'm missing out on my grandsons, my kids, my friends, EVERYTHING! I'M JUST EXISTING!! And I blame it on the doctors. I wouldn't care if they tested and pill counted me once a week, I'd be glad to, if they'd just prescribe me enough of something to knock out the pain. So much of my life has already been wasted from having chronic pain for 17yrs. and I'm only 48. I don't think I can handle 30-40 more yrs of Living like this. I know I can't and I won't!!! The DEA and doctors need to get it together and prescribe ppl like myself that have the proof of being in chronic pain the meds they need. Another thing is, I know SOOO MANY ppl that have absolutely no pain at all and can walk out of a doctor's office with all kinds and quantities of narcotic pain meds. Ex: My roommate thought she had a bad hip and was getting all kinds of pain meds even though the doctors couldn't find anything on her xrays, MRI etc. With my help she finally was sent to a vascular doc and was told she had serious clogged arteries (at 48yrs old). She had a double femeral bypass done. After she had fully healed I went with her to her pain mgmt doctor and they discussed her surgery and how she was doing. She told the doctor and I do quote, "When I woke up from surgery I could tell my pain was immediately gone and I've not had any since". She walked out of there with a prescription in her hand for the same amount of pain meds she was getting when she was in actual pain. FIVE 10mg Norco with an added script for TWO tramadol a day. SERIOUSLY?? She told him SHE WAS NO LONGER IN PAIN. The kicker? Before I went back to the doctor I'd seen for 6yrs I was referred to the same doctor as my roommate. I was told that he didn't want to give me any pain meds but instead wanted to give me the inj's. and a spinal nerve block which would have been fine with me if they would have worked all of the other times I'd had them done!! I politely but loudly reminded him of my roommates visit and how he prescribed her pain meds after she told him she was no longer in pain and how screwed up the medical field was that perfectly fine ppl can snap their fingers and get pain meds but the ones suffering, well, had to suffer. Not only did he not prescribe me anything but it was going to be another month and a half before he could do the inj's. and nerve block. I told him I had a question for him. I asked him how he'd feel if I took a ball bat and started beating the hell out of him from his lower back to his heels and work my way back up just in case I missed a spot and as he's writhing in pain he's told to go home with nothing for pain but come back in a month and a half and get needles stuck in his spine and hips. But everyday he was going to get a lashing with the bat to make sure the pain didn't go away. He was speechless. Just got up, walked to the door but before he walked out I said, That's exactly what I thought. BUT NOW YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL!! Hope you sleep well tonight doc!! Of course when my roommate has an appt I go with her just for the satisfaction of watching him drop his head when he sees me. And yes, my roommate is still being prescribed pain meds. Go figure!!
