I just moved here and i have ra along with degenerative disc disorder that is extremely painful. I dont have a doc. so i haven't been taking any meds and it is hard to just walk. I am in pain everyday and need relief fast. Is there anyone y'all can suggest that may be able to help now?

I applaud what you wrote here . There are to many on this site that have asked for (left over pills) well if you are truly in pain and need the drug you shouldn't have left overs !!! Not if you are under a good dr's care and follow what they tell you . I am in pain as well but take what my dr gives me and would never think of giving my precriptions to anyone else .. you could kill them from them having a allergic reaction from them . and to make money like that is disgusting to me . get off you pain free asses and get a job !

I do not understand why if you say your neck and back are that bad that you cannot find a dr to give you hlep ?? something stinks in the wash I think . if you are like you say your dr will run tests to conclude your condition and will give you help with your pain . thats what dr's do unless your trying to get the pills for anything else? sorry if you are truly in pain then I suggest going to your primary dr and have the test run.

Hey I am really havin a hard time finding a legit dr that too uses methadone for pain management with his patients I am a single mom that moved here from FL and had been to going to a place in kingsport but I do not feel comfortable with this office I do not know anyone and keep my condition from everyone so I really have no outlet for help on this one I am on 29 days and can probaly last 5 do u know of a caring knolegable place here or even a MD that is comfortable thank you

I've been with the same pain doctor for ober three years in knoxville and couldnt be happier with my doctor. What I'm needing and having a lot of trouble doing is finding a good primary care doctor anywhere nbtween clebeland and knoxville that will take mew patients and is good and understanding when it comes to chroniv pain. It.seems all the docs I call ask if I go to a pain clinic or if I'm on pain medd. Since the answer is yes they dont take "those" patients! I dont understand this cuz I just need a doc for reg checkups amd blood work. I dont need pain meds from them! Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

My primary Dr. Has never gave me a narcotic nor did I ask for any.she sent me to Wartburg and I seen a Dr. There who told me I needed injections for my back&i explained I was in pain management center he DID NOT perscribe me any thing and sent me discharge papers saying that we had a bad patient/Dr. Relationship? And that I should go to a methadone clinic! I did not go to my appointment at my pain management center because I have a few saved from only taking as needed but now I have Tenncare and no doctor or pain management.I have Never failed Any urine test or pill counts and my Neruosurjion said he did not perscribe pain medications and I have appointment to see a Dr. For the injections who offers pain management but I don't feel like I should go there.I have felony offense on my record now from years ago and will also have to have neck surjury in the near future also and have had 5 other surjurys.I have current MRIs and my old pain management center WILL NOT give me my records but said they would give them to my next Dr. I need. Primary care Dr. Who understands pain management that takes my insurance and also a Pain Management Dr. Because it should be my choice if I want to have back surjury I have family members and friends who have had the same type of surjury and out of all of them it haven't help any of them only made matters worse.Please help me I live in the Knoxville,Tn area Please Help Me.

Tn about 6 weeks ago. I was diagnosed with severe burning feet syndrome and a fractured t11 and t12.
I'm in constant pain around the clock. There no break for me. My feet burn very bad and I only respond to opiods.
