Does anyone know if there is an ongoing lawsuit against the company who puts out Lyrica? I am a mess from it. Do we have a leg to stand on when it comes to the side effects they found out from people like us? I am a long termer. I have been taking 900 mg since 2005. Is there anyone representing us? Thank you

Is there a law suit and how do we get in volved? The worst parts are the damage it dose in the digestive system. And the part that the company tells Dr's that Lyrica isn't addictive.

I'm have bd side affects from lyrica while on it I had chest pain felt high as a kite parranoid gained wt dry mouth memory loss and much more have been off lyrica for a yr still byond confussed only 30rys old 1day forgot how2get home its very scary still once in a while get that high feeling I think the makers of lyrica should be held resonsalbe for these side affects they interfer with my job a lot. I worried that I'm gonna loss my job do to the memory loss I work in the medical feild there's days when I don't want2be around anyone cause I'm so confused I feel like I'm goin to say something wrong and look stupid I forget things people tell me all the time is so scary I hope when I go see the neruo dr they can help

Roy when I told my pain clinc dr about all the bad side affects I was having on lyrica he told me it couldn't be the lyrica since I was alrady on it for 6ms the side affects got worse I quit takin it on my owen cold turky don't any1 every do that I feel like I was floating outside my body told my dr he put meon nurotin it didn't help dr had me go back to lyrica smaller dose 75mg 2xday instead of 150mg2xday even the smaller dose I had all te same side affects now I'm havein horrable memory problems I have2go see a neruo dr I'm so worried its gonna get worse I'm only 30 with 5yr old twinss&9yr old I'm worred I'm gonna loss my job I'm a can 8 yrs and sometimes worry I'm gonna forget something but its the only income I have and in my state of mind I don't think I could handdle a new job lyrica really ruined my life I'm glad to see its not only me I sometimes felt I was loosing my mind but to hear others have the same probs it makes me@eas some

Thank you so much Roy. I had finally given up after 4 years of being on this website and trying to find soneone to help. What about the Statue of Limitations, is it too late for some of us to benefit from such a lawsuit? I am one that almost lost her life do do these pills and I still have a speech and twitching problem from them even after all this time. I hope you will be able to include me in this lawsuit. Just the satisfaction of seeing them go down would be wonderful...I wont have this email address anymore after next week so you can contact me at clszalay @ yahoo .com

my husband was given lyrica for a work related accident the side effects were so horrible that we wound up seperated, then I did some research on lyrica and found that alot of his problems came from this drug, he had to drop of out school because of his problems with conceration/

Just type in class actions against lyrica. All kinds for suicide will come up.

I also suffered when I got off Lyrica i ended up on a psych unit for a few days as i was unable to speak a complete sentence and was confused and started having twitches in my left arm which was injured at work

Bad reaction to coming off lyrica after only 4 months. Had to be hospitalized for 4 days and it took a total of 8 weeks to recover to a somewhat normal life. I still have tremmors in my hand and extreme weekness in my knees. I have back probelms and was given a steroid injection 2-22-11 and felt so wound up, I didn't remeber to fill my lyrica prescription. So with the weekend coming up I wound up only taking one tablet a day instead of two. Within a few days, I began to lose control of ability to control my legs, arms, head, speech, etc. Horrible experience, damaged relationships, Deep depression and lots of pain. it has been just over 4 months and I still have some involuntary muscle movements and depression. I would love to see a class action suit filed.

roy! Our Hero! Thank you for at least understanding! I guess it would take someone who also had their life destroyed by Lyrica, I just know that regaurless of being off it entirely the side affects are going to remain. I am confused all the time and as i stated on lyrica survivors, it is so sad to have such bad memory loss. It actually took me over an hour to write this. God bless you for helping us and dontt forget me when you go after pfiser!

Wow. Just found this site. My husband, who was on Lyrica, hung himself in my family's garage just over two years ago, leaving myself and three teenagers behind. I am now interested in finding a class action suit. He was on another drug purported to cause "suicidal thoughts". I hope to go after that one as well.

OMG I had a DR say I should get off the oxycotin and start to try lyrica. Went into detox got off oxys they tried me on lyrica I had verry bad reactions with in 2 days. sight, shakes, dizzy,all the things all of you are writting about. Its crazy I never had anything like that happen to me in all the years of taking the oxys. Its a darn shame. I never never abused my pain meds. What is wrong with these people. The oxys gave me my life back yet the whole world thinks if we take the op drugs we are drug addicts. Things need to change fofr the sake of us. The people who need but don't abuse these drugs.I am sick and tired of trying to get help with out Drs thinking I want to get high. The only people the Dr don't question happens to be the druggies. I know for a fact a lot of people who have had a leg taken off don't have any pain. But because the books say they do they get all the meds they want no question asked and then they turn around and sell the drugs for big bucks!!!! Like the rest of you I'm in a state and don't know where to turn. One thing for sure I won't be turning to lyrica or any of those types of drugs any time soon. I hope you all file suit on those SOB's and get what is coming to you. My heart goes out to all of you.

We all need a lawyer to take a chance and get this moving. This drug is dangerous and is sold under shady tactics. Why won't some lawyer listen to us?

I don't know why you were taking lyrica but I was told it was the latest best thing for fibromyalgia. The truth of the mater is. The Dr s just want to shut us up. Over half of them don't even believe there is such a thing as FBS and the other ones who do believe it are so over whelmed by people seeking drugs to get high.They don't know what to do. First of all if they can't tell the difference when they give us a check up maybe they shouldn't be Dr's anyway. To add insult to injury the FDA is breathing down their throats because of corrupt Dr's and again all the attention on young kids abusing the op drugs. If the darn press stopped giving info out telling people how to abuse these drugs maybe there would be less abuse. Then there is the issue of cost that Ins Co have because no one really knows how to fix us.So, the answer they have come up with is to feed us full of crap that knocks us out so we don't feel the pain or anything else in life. You know what I mean the good old antidepressant drugs. So we can sleep all day drool when we eat and then drop out of life because we have gained 100 lbs. Oh yes, I can't tell you how often I'm told that I am depressed. No, I'm not. Any one with this kind of pain 24X7 is somewhat depressed.When I take something to get my pain under control there is no depression.The bottom line is chronic pain people need to join forces and make this health care system treat us the way other pain people who have other problems are treated. With respect and dignity. I know I have been long winded but this is a hot topick for me.

I am so sorry your husband took his life. how long was he on lyrica and what was he taking it for if you dont mind me asking. This medication really helped my nerve pain, but i felt so loopy i couldnt drive. when i got off it i had serious problems and ended up in a psych ward for 3 days mind you i have never had to stay in a psych hospital before. It took me about 2 months to feel right after being on lyrica. Lyrica changed the way i thought etc.... especially if i had a glass of wine with it. please let me know if you find a lawyer as there will probably be a class action lawsuit prretty soon thank you

I was taking lyirca as well it was the worst ever. Thought I was going crazy made me dizzy and feel weekday . Then I finely just stopped taking it.

neurologist. I have been to numerous Dr.s and opthamogists, hospital emergency rooms had all kinds of tests done to see what was causing this problem,, and everything came back negative. I stopped my own taking of Lyrica a couple of weeks ago because I didn't want to take it any longer. It was originally prescribed to me because of unknown pain throughout my body, again, no diagnosis of what that pain was caused by. Help. This Lyrica has to be taken off the market.

I was only on Lyrica for a few months and it almost ruined my life, i almost lost my job I am behind on all my bills. I have been off it about 3 weeks now I am still having side effects from it.. I started taking it and I thought it was working great and every couple weeks I would have severe anxiety, I would be curled up for a cpl days not able to talk to anyone or leave my house, but the funny thing is when i would take it it calmed my anxiety right back down. Then as the weeks went on my anxiety got worse and I felt like i had a severe sunburn on the inside of my whole body and I was very depressed. As all this is going on I keep going to my dr. begging them to help me but they wouldnt do too much because I am on sub for pain management. So after about 10 visits, a week on my floor hiding from the world, telling my dr I could live like this and please admit me into a hospital, they sent me out the door saying that the only med that might help me was an anxiety med, which they would not give me because im on sub.. So i went and found myself a new family dr., I still see the same dr for sub, but as far as everything else I found a new one, and they gave me the anxiety med, i had to take it three times a day, i am finally back to work and take it only as needed now. But i am still very messed up from thsi medication, I still have severe anxiety, i put myself in therapy and got myself an apt with a psychiatrist. this medication has been studied and there has been many suicides, now why would they keep handing it out.. My recommendation is try to find a different med GET OFF LYRICA IT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE!!!!!.

I dont know but i have heard some things about it, it should happen there have been alot of lives ruined and a lot of lives lost and dr. are not explaining ALL possible side effects to this medication. Let me know keep us all posted i am still not emotionally right. I am suffering and had to go on more medcation to just deal with life in general, so hopefully something can get going.. I am being Rx'd Lyrica, 50 mg 3x/day for bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome--so far have only felt dizzy and helps me sleep, so will keep posted. Am afraid to continue, so only take once per day---has anyone only taken a small dose such as this? Have read all of the posts since first and am a little confused: Is "Vicky" the same person as "Miranda," as I saw a 'signature' on one of the posts, maybe 2, and that they are signed "Vicky/Miranda."??? Just curious, no big deal. Also, where did Roy go--the guy with all of the problems with Lyrica? Hope he is okay. It sure may be hard to pass the bar with all of the confusion and problems he's had with this drug. God Bless you all and will keep you posted. Please, someone let me know if this relatively 'small' dose of 50 mg taken just before bedtime is enough to do any damage--

I took lyrica for fibromyalgia for about two weeks last year and started having voice problems. Went to ent and they gave me medicine for acid reflux and sinus which didn't help my voice problems. I believe it was the lyrica and am still having difficulty speaking. Dr suggested speech therapy. My sister also had the same problem, but hers went away when she stopped taking lyrica. I am depressed and going to mental health specialist, but it is not helping my speech problems.
