How Can You Crush New Oxycontin (Page 3) (Top voted first)

I have the new oxycontin and it seems undoable to crush and take them - anybody know anything about that?

Oxylifesaver is spot on. Sorry, but if the abusers hadn't screwed it up for everyone else then the formula would've stayed the same. Fact.
I couldn't give two hoots about the morons who use it as a recreation drug. The rest of us who actually need it are suffering for the addicts selfishness. If that hits a nerve, tough tits. Get over it and go and score some H. Get it up ya, losers. Wan wah wah.

I agree. People who have to have the drug to live thru the day have trouble getting it because of the junkies that want to get high. It makes me angry. Now the company fixed the medicine so they can't abuse them and they are already working on ways to abuse the drugs again. This causes so much trouble for people with real pain. I had half of 2 of my vertebras surgically removed due to infection. It causes excruciating pain that is only helped by oxycoitin. doctors used to be scared to give them. now they are realizing they can't shoot them anymore so they will prescibe them to me. Junkies will find a way to scew it up again. all they do is sit around and think of ways to abuse medicine and get high. One day you abusers will have to have meds and you will see what you caused people in pain.

Val, I agree with you! It does not work half as well as the oxycodone. Why am I suffering bcause pain docs do not know what it is like to be in pain or crhonic pain, period.

I was onopana for quite some time. I have severe back and hip issues as well as MS. It did not work as well for me. I currently get 5 15mg oxycodone and 2 40 mg oxycontin. Its ok, but i dont feel like the oxycontin works that well. Im trying to find a way to make it more potent ad faster acting

I need to clarify my last post.
As Of Right now there is no way of crushing the pill. There is a way to cut it I am sure of this , Is that what you want to know the name of the tool? I am not trying be a smartmouth either.

You can't crush it - soak it in juice from a fresh lemon or any acidic fruit. It takes a good 3 to 5 hours to break down. It will grow & look like a translucent insect egg sack.It will be soft but still in solid form. .

im a chronic pain patient with chrohn's and rheumatoid arthritis l'm looking for a way to find oxycontin because i have tried everything over the last fifteen years from surgery to holistic treatments and every med. under the sun and my doc. is too afraid to prescribe the onlything that helps the pain...If theres anyone that thinks they can help me i wouldreally appreciate it... i have no idea where to begin looking. i know there are alotof people out there in debilitating pain and it's a terrible thing that only other people w constant pain understand.

Oxycontin is simply Oxycodone, or Percocet, in time release format. If you believe that the Oxycontin name in itself is the cure you seek, your Doctor is right in refusing you the medicine, as he can easily prescribe Percocet in it's many forms (generic) and provide you with the same pain relief. If you are legit, then ask him about Oxycodone. Doctors hate prescribing Oxycontin because of the many ways that the pills can be abused, and the time release benefit would only aid you if the pain was around the clock, as Percocet will give you 4-6 hours of relief, with a peak of about two hours.

Wow, when I read you guys saying that you are on a lot of the drug and I can't seem see your point when it is a 20 or 30 or 40. I have been taking 3 80's, 3 40's and 5 oxy for breakthrough pain for about 5 or 6 years now. I am totally used to the amount. I don't have problems unless I miss a dosage time, but my body tells me I did sure enough. I have just started with the new meds this week so I will have to wait and see how they work for me. We are in Canada and it just became a law here for the new recipe crap. WEell....only in Ontario anyways but I'm sure the other provences will follow suite. I hope they are going to kill the pain as effective as the old ones. I won't be able to function at all if it doesn't.

Easiest thing I've been doing. I suck on the pills for about 3-5 minutes and then wipe off the coating.. which I'm not even sure you need to do, I just like to do it. Then I put them in a shot glass of root beer (or coke, I just think root beer tastes way better) overnight-I leave it overnight, but it's worked for me in 3-4 hrs. I just let them soak, if I wake up in the middle of the night, or walk by them, I swirl the glass a little so the pills flip or sometimes they stick to the bottom or sides and I twirl them apart with my finger. Then when I wake up, I just take the shot and they kick in real fast and are real strong. In my opinion it's the easiest way, also the best way if you're living with people where you can't necessarily do the CWE..

Euthanasia plan, I think you are wise to proceed with a well thought out plan. It is a damning indictment of your nation's healthcare plan that a man can live in abject pain with no relief for an entire year and no hope for relief. That is my worst fear.Bless you and post some more if you want to talk it out.I hope things have gotten better since you posted.

U no that almost all the peeps who abuse them well thay started like u.w/pain and a doc change the script or lost script for some reason and found out WOW IM ADDICTED!u r ADDICTED u just have them always.so dont go looking down on people cuz after just taking them for a week ur addicted. No matter if u take them for pain or not.and what im saying is NOT just my opinion its fact that.that almost all methadone clients r in major pain and something happend to them and thay cant get there script them. Thay find out that there a addic b in there shoes one day but ur sake i hope nott.it was ur doctor who "gives "u ur drugs and a guy off the street.u r not ANY better than any of the others please remeber cuz u might just

I've had my vertebrate shattered..sciatica from the age of 19 from football and constant other pain...you need to work out or exercise and stretch. You are worse than someone who uses pain pills recreationally for a high. You are just the scum of the earth...you are too lazy to fix your pain the right way so u get prescribed pills. You will die from the abuse on your liver ...you take these everyday...other people take them every now and then. You are pathetic..."you need these pills" just like a hero in addict "needs another fix"

have any of you guys tried cutting it into smallish pieces and heating it in a spoon with a lighter? im not being sarcastic. this has worked for me with other stuff, it sometimes increases the potency, i think it might get around the time release stuff or something. i dont know, im not a chemist, but it might be worth a try

U can take off the time release by licking the pill and rubbing it on ur hand. It will kick in faster but still no way to make a fine powder.
