Febrax Side Effects

I took 1 febraz, about 4 hours later
i had red ichy welts, my second pill was before bedtime and woke up covered with these welts, I have stopped taking them today thinking its a reaction? I am allerigic to Codeine does Febrax have codeine in it, or what has causes this. I was taking them for bad swollen bites. Thank you for any info.

Febrax contains 500mgs of Paracetamol/Acetaminophen, 2mgs of Chlorpheniramine, 5mgs of Phenylephrine and 12.5mgs of Caffeine. It is commonly used to treat cold and allergy symptoms.

So no, there is no Codeine in this.

this site is not medical professionals, but it does sound as if you've had an allergic reaction to something in this medication. There is no way we could possibly guess as to what it may have been.

You more than likely did the right thing by stopping the use of it as soon as you did.

Have you contacted your doctor to discuss this problem with them? You will probably need a different medication.
