Detox From Taking Heroin And 30mg Oxycodone Asap

SWIM has been taking 30mg oxycodone pills nasally for about 9 months now. SWIM is up to between 6-10 daily. Recently SWIM has been sniffing heroin as well bc SWIM was finding that the script wasn't lasting as long. There are days SWIM will do only heroin and on those days SWIM will do btwn 5-8 bags. There are days where SWIM will mix the two; so SWIM will take btwn 2-4 pills and 2-4 bags. SWIM is done living this way and now has access to suboxone. Can anyone give SWIM advise or a plan so SWIM can be drug free of oxys, herion, and subs AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. SWIM understands that they will have to be subject to some withdrawal symptoms however if SWIM knows they are going to be clean and sober as quick as possible He/she will endure it. Any advice or daily plans/regimens would be greatly appreciated. If there are any vitamins/supplements or foods/drinks that anyone can suggest that would assist in this process SWIM would appreciate this as well.

I am so sorry that you are having a difficult time swim, but you will be surprised that you will have only very few withdrawal symptoms. My daughter has been on suboxone for over a year. The doc told her to abstain from taking drugs for48 hours, but she waited just 24 hours, and she suffered no ill effects. But wait at least 24 hours before starting the subs, or it will cause you to go into withdrawal immediately, and I've heard that it's unbearably painful. The fact that you are mixing heroin and oxys is VERY dangerous. My niece overdosed on this combination. The withdrawal symptoms that you may experience will be psychologically and not physiologically...meaning that you are psychologically addicted to snorting.Take up a hobby, play video games...anything to take your mind off snorting the drug. My daughter was shooting her drugs, so she missed the needle and the rush. She started on 3 subs a day, and that is probably the dose that you will start with. The only physiological symptoms that you may have is nausea and diarrhea. If you do, take dramamine and Imodium; both are sold over the counter. You may have sweating also, but I'm sure that you are used to that. Another thing that helps is to go to meetings, it really helps you to know that you are not alone in this disease. Avoid triggers that may entice you to use again. You may need to drop your friends that use for awhile, maybe forever unless they're willing to go for treatment also. Choose a friend or family member that will be supportive of your sobriety, or get a sponsor in NA meetings. Call them when you feel that you are thinking about using again. Please don't freak out about the physical withdrawal, because you will be pleasantly surprised. Your withdrawal is going to be psychological, but I know that you can do it.
