Day 2 Here We Go...
Updatedjust wanted to add a little bit here for people like me. I've been on suboxone for a month or so now, went to a clinic after moving down to Florida cuz I can't find anything on the street down here, and that's a good thing!!anyways on day 2 of detox after coming off of 8 milligrams every other day, feel pretty good but not 100%, I was eating a Roxy 30 a day or a couple few tab tens today pretty much anything I could get my hands on, I have been using Walgreens 1 daily men's multivitamin and a v6 compound good b6 supports your CNS health which becomes a problem when withdrawing off of Suboxone and the men's multivitamin has a lot of b6 b12 magnesium niacin and vitamin K that your body needs. I'm not saying it helps for everybody and I'm just a mechanic not a doctor, but on day 2 of withdrawals which I know, is only the beginning I don't feel too bad at all really if I feel real bad I will go back to the clinic Monday get my 8 milligram dose let it melt just a little bit in my mouth and then spit it out. So I guess I'll put a short way to detox in here:
Taper your dose
Start skipping days
Get lots of vitamin supplements
Exercises... Even tho u want to lay around.
Keep your mind busy...suboxin is really good at messing with your head when withdrawing
Stick to it!!!
I personally just felt like I was in this large haze when on suboxone, yeah it helped a little at first with my withdrawal symptoms and the cravings but I just did not feel like myself at all, with constant stomach upset just clammy skin felt like I was going to puke all the time then all this while taking suboxone, so I've only been on it for a month or so it's time to quit. Hope this information if only helps one person help somebody I had no one to help me so I'm trying to pay it forward here guys good luck you can do it don't backslide there is a light at the end of the tunnel and the light at the end of the tunnel is freedom

Hello, Tony! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems you had with Suboxone, but congrats on taking control to get off of everything.
From the symptoms you've described, it sounds like you may have been on too high of a dose for you and may have done better on a lower one. There have been several people that posted about having similar problems with it.
The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Has anyone else experienced this?
