Can Taking 25 Hydrocodone Apap 5-500 At Once Be Fatal? (Page 4)

If a person takes 25 hydrocodone apap 5-500 tablets at once will this just make them really sick or can it possibly be fatal?

TO: REPLY TO ALL: I venture to guess you don't know a thing about what real mental illness is like. We're already going through hell. And dying of old age is not the worst way to die. My dad just died four months ago at the age of 83. It wasn't fun...especially for me...but I know it was a relief for my dad and I hate to say it but it was good. He's happy and healthy and sing again like he once could. I don't know exactly who you are talking about when you say "he" but KARMA, as you say, has already handed us a really, really, really crappy hand. And ALL OFYOU...yelling and screaming at those of us who contemplate and plan suicide is the LAST THING we need, for Christ's sake. That's the problem with this world...you people don't understand. We are still human beings and we can't SNAP OUT OF IT!!! We need COMPASSION, we need someone to LISTEN, we need someone to ACKNOWLEDGE our thoughts and feelings. But you people are too busy being judgemental and throwing Bible verses at us and other crap pulled out of the air. Jeez....treat us like PEOPLE. We are not aliens or animals or some sort of subspecies. Our brains work differently and although we can do some things to help ourselves, there are things in the chemistry and make-up of our body and brain that WE CAN'T CHANGE ALONE!!! Do you tell a diabetic to SNAP OUT OF IT!??? It's the same f***king thing! Don't you get that? Granted there are some people in the world who don't have the capacity to understand (unfortunately I'm married to one and it makes my life even more of a hell), but those of you with the intelligence to find an old, hidden website like this should know better. YOU ARE THE PEOPLE WHO SHOULD BE FEELING SHAME....NOT US!!! If you REALLY want to help, read, do research (we already know you can do that if you're here), take things to heart. Read "Letters to a Young Madman: A Memoir" by Paul Gruchow. That will give you a hell of a taste as to what we go through and maybe you'll get just a little bit of what we go through.

I didn't mean to write a sermon but it really gets to me that so many people are so judgemental and think we're being this way just to spite the world. You guys are the ones who need to grow up and learn that some people in this world really have trouble dealing (to put it mildly) and if you're humane and compassionate you'll be understanding and not judgmental.

Enough said until the next stupid post.

I am 17 and in high scholol and 225 lbs. I start my day with 200Mg of Adderall XPR (10 capsules) and 150Mg of codeine from hydrocodone along with 7500Mg of acietometafin (15 capsules)

Yeah I don't believe you about taking 30 hydros....and then being okay... I truly believe that would be fatal beyond a doubt.

Drake...Sorry. No possible way a doc would order 7500 mgs of acetaminophen. I took just 1300 mgs the other day and a doc felt it necessary (I don't know why) to do a blood test. Two x-strength equals 1000 mgs. Yes rx meds can go higher but no way you're taking that every day. If you are you're going to be on the liver transplant list if not dead soon.

Nope. Will make ya feel like crap though. I'm supposed to tell you to go to some emergency department & fess up to your wish to die. But I am scrolling thru here tryin to find something to do the trick for me. Screw my family. Except my brother. Everyone else; Deal. With. It. And goodbye. They never liked me anyway. Chronic systemic illness sucks. Find a better combo, my friend. Cuz the Lortab ain't gonna cut it I'm afraid. Good luck man.

Guys...it's not the hydrocodone, or Lortab, Vicodin, or whatever you want to call it. It's the acetaminophen that's the dirty bastard that will do it to you. Messed up an opportunity about a month ago myself. Have a new idea for the next time....which is going to have to be the last. Tired of messing with this and tired of living for someone else. Don't know how to live for myself anymore.

Don't be a moron.

Everyone has a different ability to metabolize drugs in their liver. While some people may be able to handle more... for other exceeding that maximum limit by even a small amount can cause liver damage. You should never take that kind of risk with your body or suggest that anyone else may be safe in doing so.

I don't know if 25 would be lethal or not. If you drank a bottle of booze and tied a bag over your head it might be - maybe you'd pass out and suffocate.

The amazing thing is how hard it is for people who want to kill themselves to find out what dose of any drug would do it. So, because this information is unavailable, those who REALLY want to kill themselves resort to other methods that are known to be deadly: firearms, jumping in front of trains, jumping off buildings, cliffs, bridges, head-on-collisions with 18 wheelers, etc, etc, etc. All of those are hideous, violent, and awful ways to die - all each of the people who resorts to those methods wanted was a peaceful way to die but the morons running our society make those methods unavailable. An entire nation of morons and imbeciles - it's very disappointing.

Best way I've heard of is the "suicide bag" method on Wikipedia. Using nitrogen, it is painless, no gagging because air is 78% nitrogen so the person's body doesn't recognize that anything is wrong. BUT, ever try to get some nitrogen? Ain't easy to get enough.

Goodness people! I came on here to find out if I had possibly taken too many (not a suicide attempt, desperation for pain relief) or just freaking out. If I want to talk about God, that's what I go to church for. I thought this page was suppose to help me. Is there something wrong with people having some humility?

I hope you never experience severe depression. I have been struggling with it my whole life. Nobody wants to be depressed or suicidal they are in terrible pain and can't think of another way out. Probably have no support network and could use some f##ing empathy. Some of you people are disgusting and heartless.

Depression n suicide isn't an act of attention seeking in all cases. That's usually in young teens. When a grown up suffers with mental issues it's usually pretty serious. Surround yourself around positive ppl. And find at least one person u can open up to with every thought u have. And of course, speak by faith to God n believe He is hearing u. Even when u can't c him He's there. I think the only person weak on this stream is the ass talking about just do it already comments. You need help the most Cuz ur here trying to fix someone that's hurt by saying die?

Was it painful when you took that many pills? I don't want to live anymore either. The emotional pain I suffer is greater than the physical pain from two collapsed hips and I can tell you that pain is very high to live with everyday.
