I like several others, saw the info-mercial, and due to joint pain am quite curious about the validity of the product. I called the 800 # and was told I could get 3mo. supply for120.00 n 12.00 s&h( that includes 1 mo. free. which makes the product Approx. 60.00 a bottle). Or I could get 6 month supply for 180.00+S&H. With each plan when the supply you purchase is about to expire you continue to recieve a 1 month supply for 40.00+8.00S&H unless you opt to cancel. I too would like to know if anyone has taken this product for at least 45days(as that was longest time it took to take effect on the info-mercial). iwould also like to know Carla where you get the pharmaceutical grade glucosamine?

Julie,
I don't know why they did not tell you about the buy 5 get 7 free offer which reduces the price to about $25.00 per bottle.

There are several compounds found to enhance the effectiveness of glucosamine sulfate. Hyaluronic acid, Boswelia Serrata, Chondroitin, Turmeric, Evening Primrose Oil, Cayenne Pepper, Ginger, Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), and others.

It does not seem that any supplement combines them all (and that may be because of contraindications, I do not know).

It would seem prudent for you to do google research to find the pure glucosamine. It was easy. Finding the best price for it is fairly easy too.

Personally, I have tried preparations with some of the above mentioned complementary ingredients and found only marginal relief of symptoms. So, I still have not received the Arthri D. But, it is a combination that I have not tried.

Also, the Arthri D has a different type of glucosamine which has not been as rigorously tested as glucosamine sulfate. It is metabolized differently and not considered as easily absorbed or useful in arthritis. But, I am still optimistic due to the testimony of the salesperson I spoke with that uses it personally. His story was compelling. I will post back here in about 6 weeks as I am able to test the product which has not yet arrived.

My recommendation to you is to do your own research of the products available. I committed to Arthri D before I did my google search and learned so much. I am still optimistic as they have a proprietary formula which I have not tried yet. Different things work better for different people. One size will never fit all. Good Luck!

Julie,

Here is the address to a reputable site that sells glucosamine hcl. It is the best price I could find for the product and is considered as pure as you can get. They process fast and deliver fast too.

I agree with the Rheumatard comment above...I am listening to this infomercial as I am typing this and he just said Rheumatard about 10 times!

while I cannot find anything anywhere on the internet about ArthriDtm...The Main ingredient is most likely SERRAPEPTASE and has been used quite successfully for close to 30 years in Europe as an extremely safe and effective all natural replacement for NSAIDS and Corticosteroids and works very well for most with Asthma, Allergies, Arthritis, Cystic Fibrosis and many many other Inflammatory related conditions...best of luck to all

Cheap is not the good way to go, cheap is cheap, and you get what you pay for. Supplements should not contain these ingredients:
stearic acid, or magnesium stearate, there are superior and healthier binders to make tablets from.

Carla,

My email address is henri012 at netzero dot net. I am just learning and sharing at the same time. I am not familiar with the detriments of stearic acid and Magnesium Stearate. Please inform us in this forum.

Also, you have not shared the source of your glucosamine sulfate so that we may benefit from your research and experience. Your email address is not visible to us. So, even though you invited us to email you, that has not been possible.

Thank you for what you have shared.

Hello All,

I did some research on the issue of Magnesium Stearate and stearic acid. Although one article spoke of a slowed absorption rate at the 20 minute mark. It did not claim that the entire dose failed to be absorbed. In fact, the implication was that the entire dose was entirely digested. Okay, so at 20 minutes, instead of 90% absorption there was only about 30%. As long as the entire dose is absorbed, I can accept that.

Here is a link that gives insight into the issue (Marketing can be deceiving; read carefully and google for other sources of info):

To Verwon -- I have only read through the 6/24 comments. Your attitude on this thread is really snotty. You are giving ingredients to a product not even asked about. The product the person was asking about is Arthri-D, link here: http://www.arthrid.com/ingredients.php, and are different ingredients than the ones you were so adamant were contained in the product. Only you were responding as if the person had asked about ArthRID-It. Maybe the attitude would have worked better if you had actually provided information about the question asked. Are there any other questions?

Hi there,
I'm just waiting for my friend to reply to an email, this friend works pretty high up in an excellent Canadian magazine on health. She was the one who warned me on certain ingredients, I believe it is the stearate binders I mentioned, I'll keep you posted. I see the secret for the email,
cmniemi at telus dot net.
For me, I'm always wondering about the proprietary blend, the laws surrounding supplements made to food grade as so loose, that 'blend' that is not divulged is tough to trust. I now have no problems with knees as I said and in fact haven't even had a cold in 2.5 years from taking excellent stuff

Hey you guys listen to Mark all these info TV adds they show are all BOGUS they even say in the small print on the show not intended to treat or cure RED FLAG Ill tell tell ya what it will cure you,ll lose your $$$$$$$$$ buy people.

Just an FYI, all supplements must have the small print like - * These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
So if a product does NOT have this, they are out of compliance, because claims cannot be made, HOWEVER, some products can still be helpful. Of course do your due diligence, and it's why we all came here, to get a referral, referrals help us decide sometimes. I say, is there a money back guarantee, that's what speaks to me about any company. The wellness industry is approaching a Trillion dollars - we are realizing prevention is better than the cure.

I just listened to the TV ad about this product and it certainly is engaging. I called and they told me they do have a website- jflexprotex-d.com. I looked it up and there is no such website. I'm very skeptical at this point.
