Urine Test And Oxycodone (Page 3) (Top voted first)

Can a urine drug test sent off to a lab tell the difference between oxycodone/apap 7.5-3.25mg (percocet 7.5-3.5) and oxycodone hcl 5mg (Roxicodone 5mg)? I took 3 percocets tonight and i am prescribed the roxi's. I go to my pain doc in 4 days and they occasionally drop me. Can they tell the difference. How long will they be in my system? thanks to all that answer.

Not true I am tested monthly. The Urine test my doctor did could tell Exactly what you took and how much!

I used to be on 80 milligrams of oxycontin with 10 milligrams oxycodone for acute breakthrough pain for my nerve pain and fibromyalgia. On the pee test they can check for levels my doctor's office does your best bet is to wean down to your normal dose for at least 3 days leading up to it and if you can't do it like that what I would suggest is one or two days before take some laxatives and drink a lot of water to flush your system.

That is correct, the standard test will only show that you took Oxycodone, it cannot distinguish whether it was just a tablet that contains Oxycodone, or a tablet that contains it and Acetaminophen.

(For the record, that's 325mgs of Acetaminophen, not 3.25)

However, your pain management doctor can include an aspect to the test that also checks your levels of it and, if that is the case, then your levels may be off.
