Chronic Back Pain with no help
4 Replies RSS
What are the people with chronic pain going to do now that Drs will not prescribe pain meds they need and are in legitimate pain? Drs think you are a drug seeker if you ask for lortab even thought you really are in pain. What is going to happen to these people. Pain can cause other things such as high blood pressure and depression yet most Drs will not treat their pain because of all the drug seekers. What can be done about this. There has tobe a solution. The Physician's Oath says"First do no harm" But when they let someone in real pain walk out the door with no pain meds they in my mind are doing harm. There has to be a way to work this out so that people in real pain will be treated so they can have a quality of life. When you are in real pain you have no quality of life....

Vicodone Replacement

Does anyone know what a good replacement for vicodone since they took it off the market? My dr. put me on norco 7.5-325. These are a joke. I have to take 2-3 tabs when I was taking 1 tab.I am really screwed since I am allergic to codene, morphene, and most things that get me out of pain. I am on fentenal patch, but this replacement doesn;t make any sence. If I have to take 3 times the dosage I'm taking 3 times the acetaminophen. I was on percocet but now my insurance charges 3x the amount it used to cost, so thats not affordable. Any suggestions? Thanks ## Vicodin is still on the market, it an Norco actually contain the same active ingredients, Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. Learn more Vicodin details here. RED#5112WITH A V UNDER ## IS DARVACET OF THE MARKET?? ## To update this… Yes, Darvocet has been removed from the market in the U.S. and most other countries, the withdrawal includes all medications that contained Propoxyphene or it's relatives. The reason it was removed is because it was found to cause severe cardiac dangers and there were an inordinate number of overdose deaths associated with these medications. Anyone know of any in the southeastern KY area?? Been seeing this one for 4-5 years and now he's not even here, went on active duty with the navy. I have had neck AND back surgery. Been on Nucynta 100mgs and Lortab 10's for breakthru pain, now as of the 23rd of this month I will have nothing and be in agony, in the bed day in and day out. Really would appreciate some advice and input please. I have the MRI's and proof I need pain meds. ## His office didn't provide you with a referral or any advanced warning that he was leaving? Have you found a new doctor, yet? What I'd suggest, if you haven't, is that you call your local hospital and see if they have a social work or assistance department. They usually have information on resources to help you find a doctor that...

I have been using ER 60 mg morphine sulfate x 2 daily with other meds. No one has this medicine in Tampa area and being legally blind I have no way to go to 50 pharmacies to locate because they won't tell you on the phone. Is there something equal that I can get my Dr to RX I am running out of other medicines, need help ## Have you ever tried Oxycontin? It's a time released formulation of Oxycodone, which is a very potent narcotic and it's also stronger than the Morphine, so you'd even require a lower dose, you'd only need 40mgs of it to equal each 60mg dosage of Morphine. Does Sun Pharmaceutical Oxycodone Tab 5mg contain Gluten?
1 Reply RSS
I have celiac disease and I just refilled a prescription for Oxycodone 5mg Tabs. My pharmacy switched manufacturers from QLT to SUN Pharmaceuticals (the site says the generic is made by Caraco Pharmaceutical. I took one and 3 hours later I'm having gluten-like pain. The Sun-Caraco site lists the inactive ingredients as: anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, and sodium starch glycolate. Does anybody know if the pregelatinized starch, and sodium starch glycolate they use has gluten in it-- (wheat based rather than corn, or potato based)? ## Sun Pharmaceutical Oxycodone Tab 5mg does contain trace amounts of gluten measured at 100 parts per million. how long till tramadol leaves your system.
2 Replies RSS
I had tramadol yesterday for the first time and within the hour i was throwing up dizzy and really light headed and today still dizzy and nauseated almost like a really bad hangover.. Was thinking it maybe an allergic reaction from taking it. As. I am also allergic to codiene. Just wondering how kong it will take for it to leave my system. ## Those are possible side effects to taking it, but not characteristic of an allergic reaction. However, I do understand, since I experienced the same thing when I tried it and it was quite miserable. If you only took one dose, then it shouldn't last too long, about 24 hours or so. Thus, if you're still feeling the symptoms, you should consult your doctor, since something else may be causing them. How are you feeling today? Learn more Tramado...

hydro drug testing
Post a Reply
My boyfriend took one hydrocodone two days before he left for marine boot camp. He was in extreme pain and thats all he could find to help. He took it on a Saturday night at about 9:30, and his drug test was probably that coming Monday during the day sometime. He extremely active, and always drinks lots of water and works out every single day. We're freaking out because he could get sent home if it shows up on the drug test. Will it show up???

How can I Naturally get off Norco 10 Mg 3 times per day with minimal withdrawals?
3 Replies RSS
I have been taking this for almost 2 years. I started because of a major back injury in October 2010-my twin daughters were almost a year old, and have since discovered acupuncture-which is wonderful! I want to stop taking the Norco(I was prescribed 10 mg 4 times daily and took it all up until about 4 months ago when I began cutting it down to 3 a day). At the birth date of my girls I weighed 213-I had gained only 50 pounds, after I got hurt and started taking the Norco, I slowly gained weight until I was up to 218 lbs a couple of months ago. Now I weigh 205 after having started the acupuncture and changing my diet. I feel slovenly and like I am a slave to this drug-physically speaking. I still have major pain but am just sick of taking these things. I want to get off of these pills and...
