Oxycodone Shortage Scam (Page 7) (Top voted first)

Guys, i hate to tell you this but its all bulls***>>> after 3 weeks trying to fill my Oxy 30, 140, i finally got to speak to my Pharm Manager who Ive used for 12 years. He told me straight up, that all the calls and people have hurt their regular business, so they decided to stop ordering Oxy in any amout to avoid the crap I was floored as all of a sudden he filled my script on the spot not 30 secs before they were all telling me they didnt have any. He told me last that would be the last one filled as hes not ordering anymore. I discussed with him about just oredering for me, as I'm legit and trying to follow the rules by using only one doctor and one pharmacy. He said he"ll consider it just for me. What a bunch S***!!! This from a guy Ive known for 12 years. It is a Walgreens, This is a conspiricy to avoid all of the drug seekers at our expense. They should go back to getting it off the street and leave us alone. How many more of us have to suffer? Im dag gone tired of being looked at as a druggy as I limp up to the counter. I spent 30 years as a cop on the job in New York, shot in the leg and arm for the citizens I swore to protect and now to be treated like the guys I put in the slammer? Im sure there are plenty of us on the blog. What the hell? Anybody know a good attorney? I guess I should start taking Morphine or Herion and sleep all day since I cant get the medication that works and this is America? Sound off you guys its the only way were going to be heard. I just wanna keep it real for everybody in "legit" pain and those who get prescribed oxy... I work in a pharmacy in NYC as a technician... There are no shortages... Anybody who tells you there is a shortage is lying... I work in a mom & pop pharmacy... Chains like Walgreens and CVS always have oxycodone in stock... They may not have 30mg that specific day but they will have it soon... Just because you have a piece of paper that you call a "legit" script doesn't mean a damn thing anymore... Do you know how many people have scripts in NYC? Do you think every single one of them gets filled? No... Because the pharmacist reserves the right to deny anybody service... At least 50 people with scripts for 30's walk in my pharmacy everyday and at least 95% of them are turned down by my boss... Its not because we are out of stock or short, trust me, because I'm the one who places the orders and fills the shelves... My boss (who is obviously the pharmacist) just doesn't want his place of business being the place where junkies come and get their fix... Its funny because these junkboxes come in with a script for 240 30mg's and they think they're gonna pay with insurance and have a $1 copay... It doesn't work like that anymore... If you wanna be a junkie in 2012, you gotta pay the price... Unless you have been prescribed the meds for a few years... If you just got a script this month and think your insurance is gonna cover you, you have another thing coming... My pharmacy will fill almost anybody whose willing to pay cash... and if you wanna pay cash you will be paying at least $2 per pill... But my boss makes these crazy prices up so junkies will stay out... He has a set amount of people he has been filling for 5 plus years that he lets fill their on a monthly basis... But anybody new gets the boot or they get offered to pay cash and then they get pissed off and walk out... Bottom line is NOBODY who is in "legit" pain would be prescribed oxy for 8 years... You are all junkies and addicted to oxycodone... The pain you feel is called WITHDRAWAL from the drug...

YOU SHOULDN'T BE ON ANY NARCOTIC PAIN RELIEVERS - OBVIOUSLY YOU HAVE GROWN DEPENDENT ON YOUR MEDS AND YOU SHOULD BE WEENED OFF - MAYBE WITH SUBOXONE, MAYBE COLD TURKEY - YOU SHOULD GET INTO PHYSICAL THERAPY AND LOOK INTO SOME NON-NARCOTIC PAIN RELIEVERS - NARCOTICS ARE CLEARLY NOT FOR YOU - YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE WILL IMPROVE - TRUST ME

Nobody ever needs 140 oxycodones per month at 30mg unless they are a legitimate drug addict. This is the perfect time for you to get off the dragon dude. No different than heroin.nyour body and mind have you convinced that you take this for legitimate pain. It's not . It is to prevent withdrawal and keep you happy and not depressed. Bite the bullet and get off this crap. Trust me!!
