Re: Teeners (# 6) Expand Referenced Message

I would like to know how this zubsolve works , vs the Suboxone I'm on two 8/2 mgs a day for 3 years and 5 days today it has been a good send . I've noticed the negativity on here that's unfortunate. Those are just uneducated judgemental meanies. I'm a life long addict , of opiates, pain killers, because of an issue with my hips. I've tried just meetings, and sitting with my "pecker" in my hand , methadone, I've tried just taking my pain meds as prescribed but none of this worked I've even been incarcerated for several years over this. Nothing helped till the Suboxone, it also controls my pain , it makes me functional. The zubsolve is available in my area now and I'd like to check it out, so any information on it and experience you guys have with it , I'd love to hear. Thanks and good luck, and to those uneducated judgemental people who like to comment rude comments, go learn a few things about addiction before you go talking smack , good forbid addiction finds it's way into your lives

Yes, it is away better and compounded differently. I am also tapering off Gabapentin. Was on up to 3600 mg Gab per day, now no more than 1200 mg.

Re: Jane (# 4) Expand Referenced Message

U obviously have never been addicted to some form of an opioid. The program is a great tool for those in recovery but sometimes its not enough. Especially when the natural chemicals have been depleted and some may need the synthetic help of this medication just to function. Plz ppl don't comment on someone's question if you don't understand how this works

Why not try sobriety? Go to NA meetings. That is the only way I know to get clean. Stop putting yourself and your loved ones through hell. You can do it!

I am currently on zubsolv 1 and 1/2 a day and I have gained like 50 lbs...does anyone know if regular suboxone vs. zubsolv makes you gain the same tremendous amount of weight. This is my only concern with taking this medication...other than that...it's been a blessing

FDA approves two higher dosage strengths of Orexo's ZUBSOLV

The new dosage strengths are 8.6 mg/2.1 mg and 11.4 mg/2.9 mg buprenorphine/naloxone CIII sublingual tablets. The 8.6 mg/2.1 mg dosage strength is expected to be launched early 2015 and the 11.4 mg/2.9 mg strength later in 2015.

The new dosage strengths complement the existing strengths of 5.7 mg/1.4 mg and 1.4 mg/0.36 mg tablets and enable patients to receive their optimal dose in one tablet.

The new strengths are made with the advanced, proprietary sublingual tablet formulation in ZUBSOLV providing higher bioavailability, a fast dissolve time, small tablet size, and menthol flavor.

Hello, Justin! How are you?

Zubsolv contains the exact same ingredients as Suboxone. Buprenorphine coupled with Naloxone, both are most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so as long as you doctor approves, you should be able to make a smooth switch.

The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Is there anything else I can help with?
