I Take 1 Mg Of Klonopin Per Day Why Does It Not Show Up In My Urine Test? (Page 4)

I take 1.0 mg of klonopin a day and as prescribed and it is not showing up in my urine test. The Doctor that prescribes my medication thinks that I am not taking it. Has anyone ever heard of this and if so what could be the reason for it not showing up in my urine test? The Doctor accused me of not taking my medication he prescribed. Yet offers no reason why it does not show in my urine.

No Xanax does Not stay in your body longer. Xanax is stronger, but not as long lasting as Klonapin , and certainly not Valium which has a very long half life.

I Take Xanax daily and test (urine) 2x's/week. I never go a day without my medicine and have had three ua's where my Xanax didn't show. It happens. I've had to up my dose just to satisfy the people that are testing me and make sure to take it in pieces throughout the day, always a small piece at bedtime so it'll be there when I pee in the morning.

O.P., Try Breaking your dose up throughput the day. Take some before bed If you test in the morning.

Don't drink lots of fluids before test & try to use your morning urine it will show all! If its not showing up & if that don't work take 1 write in front of Dr & wait a few hrs then take test to prove to ur Dr!!!!

I'm kinda confused about where this thread of clinic drug testing for klonipin is going. Correct me if I'm wrong, but, there were posts made about klonipin not showing up when tested. I have. NO IDEA WHY I AM WASTING MY TIME HERE!!!!!!!

Hello Joe, First of all I feel ur pain regarding the benzo not showing up. Im on one mg. Three times daily. I go to my local methadone clinic. I am prescribrd klonopin. Its.not showing up in the screens at the clinic and I have cootdinated care.so my family doc.did bmp a 12 panel bmp urine screen on me only methadone showed.up. he writes my klonss for me now assuming im not taking them. I am SO taking them. But I broke my drug contract with him cause his test did not detect benzos. Not my fault. But he writes for me and now will NOT because they didnt show up. Now I have to find another doc. Bmp as I have been on benzos bmp twenty five plus yrs.....now you mentioned the methsdose.its the same thing methadone, methadose, dolophine all the same. I say this because I have been accociated with it for close to 30 yrs.. but I know that klonopin has a long half life. It should still be in our system but the tests arent detecting it. Im about to loose it!!! LOL...I dont have an snswer

I am a methadone patient as well. so, I guess it's safe to say the clonazepam won't show up in my drug test?

I have the same problem but I take 3 1mg tabs a day. Now, my doctor thinks I am a liar and is taking me off my klonopin. He said I could taper. I am not even going to bother since I am a liar anyway. I hope I have a seizure or get sick so my doctor believes me.

I was trying to find out if a .05 mg klonopin taken 3 days earlier would show up in a random employee drug test at Con Ed, NY. I dont drive or perform tasks the public relies on me for but would not want to jeapordize my job or have to enter a program for a prescribed med I rarely take. Is it really illegal for them to ask what prescribed drugs i'm taking. I know a fellow employee who self identified klonopin after a family members death and they put him on leave for months ...though im not sure it ever appeared in a drug test. Also, why are doctors taking patients off their needed klonopin if it does not show in urine. What new law is this? Ridiculous! Should I be worried about my job 20 years with Con Ed and i am union. The stress is making me more anxious. Would love anyone's feedback. Thanks and hang in there all

I take the same dosage and had to take a urine test for custody hearing. I tested negative for the benzos. I take clonazepam 1 mg every night. This is not the first time this has happened. There have been no negative consequences but i am still curious.

Please read #39 & #43....These posts lets you know how I came to find out why klonipin doesn't show up when you're tested. I was taking klonipin, but, it wasn't showing up...bottom line is that low leavels of klonipin DO NOT SHOW UP in tests. It takes a stronger type test for it to show up. So, this info was given to me by MY DOCTOR!!! And, have no problems with this ever!!
Check this over to YOUR DOCTOR, &
let them know about this high tech tester for klonipin. All I need to do is pass this info to you... Good Luck.

I hear ya, I couldn't believe it, I received a certified letter today from my doctors office, they were not treating me no more .I had to go else where, after being with them since 98. I was very close to him and trusted him, could talk about anything, He knew me better then me. But theres one thing I cant handle , being called a lier. They drug tested me and said there was no sign of Klonopin or flexeril. I have to take me klonopin every day for my anxiety. I have terriable anixiety. I take 1 mg twice a day and he and I just talked about it and he said I could take one during the day if I needed it. I do take them , every day1 @am and 1 @ pm and some times one during the day. Now no doctor, after loosing my mom , I was on xannax and they took me off of it because I did od on purpose. They replaced it with the Klonopin and now kicking me out because its not showing up. I am all already getting anxiety attacks , thinking about trying to find another doctor. what the hell does some one do.

What the heck is wrong with YOU people?????!! CAN'T YOU READ???!! You ask the SAME question about the SAME THING!!!!! It's ANSWERED in posts #72 #73 And #75!!!!! AND more!!! LOW LEVELS of KLONIPIN does NOT show up on average tests!! Did you get that??! Because of how it's broken down in your system!! A HIGH TECH testing is (so far) the ONLY WAY to find the level it takes to have finding the drug in your system!!!!!! I have found that ORIGINALLY, by my own DR. to find out why it was NOT showing up in MY test.... It is UP TO YOU to advise YOUR Dr. to test in a more advanced testing facility.... OR BE SICK!!! NOW, is there ANYTHING you do not UNDERSTAND???!!!! IF this SAME problem keeps coming up.... all YOU had to do is RELAY this to your Dr., I am getting tired of giving out the ANSWER to this, only to have come RIGHT BACK..... If you can NOT GET THIS, NOW..... that's it....... Good Luck

Ash.... if you relayed the best way you could of how to get the answer to a repetitive question, you too can get a little agitated... also when people seem desperate for an answer....I do wanna help!!! If I HAVE BEEN any help to anyone, that is an accomplishment & then we're ALL happy.!!! OK?!!
