How Long Does Valium Stay In Your System?

I've taken maybe five or six Valium in the past two weeks. The last one about two days ago. Other than that I have not taken anything besides Suboxene. Does anyone know how long it takes to get out of your system?

Well my roommate takes Flexeril and they're not helping her tonight so she asked if she could try one of my 10 Valium which she has taken legally before. How long does it last in your system? Is Valium the same as Flexeril?

I would like to say that benzos are the one drug that can stay in your system a very long time. i was taking valiums for about 3 months prescribed and taken correctly. i think i took one at night time. every now and again i would take a second during the day. my doctor took them off of them and i was still showing traces of valiums in my urine for 3 months after i stopped. wasnt a problem for me as i had a prescription and they also tested my levels just to make sure i wasn't lying about stopping. seen as though my levels kept going down they knew i was being honest. so its different for different people. ive known a few people the kept testing positive for months after stopping. so 6-7 days i find a little hard to believe. this is from my own experiences so i know better. i didnt have a clean U/A till the 4th month. and i seriously and completely stopped when the doctor cut me off of them. hope this helps. and as far as using niacin or all these other miracle cleanses... guess what??? the doctors arent stupid and they know about them and they have come out with a special test that shows traces of this vitamin and drink. it comes back as diluted now and if it comes back diluted then you fail automatically. good luck to you all and i really really REALLY suggest finding help for your addictions. thank god i did cuz i know id be dead if i hadnt. there is all kinds of help out there for everyone. you just have to look for it and ask for help. even if you cant afford it. you just have to want it. and i mean truly want it. i am an addict of 15 years using. i am now 3 yrs sober. get help. get your life back. and finally.... LIVE!!! really hope this helps someone. even if its just one person. education and outreach are so very important. and the willingness to say hey, i have a problem. i need help. the first step is admitting to yourself you're an addict and your life is f***ing messed up. you can then start from there. denial is what stops everyone from getting the help they need. JOIN THE MOVEMENT! save a life. save your own life. save someone. TO THYNE OWN SELF BE TRUE...ALWAYS.

I took 4 10mg Valium's approximately 5weeks ago, I just took a urine test. Do u think these will still show up? And I remind u that I'm not a chronic user far as the Valium's go, it was a one time weekend thing.

Diazepam has a half life of 45 hours and the metabolite 100 hours. You multiply the half life of the metabolite by 5.5 which means 10 mg of valium will take 550 hours to leave your system. If you use heavy doses over long periods of time I imagine it may take longer. Valium is one of the worst benzos to eliminate from your system. I think klonopin or better yet Ativan may have shorter half life metabolites. You can do the research but remember research the metabolite half life not the drug half life and multiply by 5.5. This may not be a perfect method but it gives you a good idea of where you stand. Swim had a few hundred valium but was caught by his psychiatrist and threatened to take away his script for klonopin so swim did the research. Some things aren't worth losing for 10 or 100 mg of valium.

I have been denied my much needed Opiate therapy program for my spine, neck, left knee. New MD did drug test, said he denied due to positive test for klonipin and valium. I have not taken those drugs since 3/2015. MD looked at me with glib. I said after his eight attempt at backing me in a corner. " I have not taken those drugs since 3/15 and you accuse me". He refused my pain control, treated me like I had used these. I continued to repeat I had never taken these drugs that were prescribed in that time and now cannot obtain any conclusion. I shall seek another MD. He replied after he said "NO" and "I am so glad you did not storm out of the exam room after the news" What is up with that. I will tell you. He never wanted to prescribe but accuse. Before the showing of lab test he indicated because I moved over state lines that there could be possibility that I obtained RX from outside pharmacies other than the main one I used for over 15 years. Than more than accused stating, "We have to watch those on opiates that they may wear two or more patches, forgetting to take them, take too much norco, because the benzo's are not allowing thought process. Are you kidding MEEEEEE!!!! I never took the damn pills. Yes I will find another MD and turn him into quality assurance through Med board for My state. Just thanks for listening. I am sooo not understanding how anyone can go beyond and not listen. Oh I know,because they wear their markers on their heads to take down those they can.

I heard from what seemed like a reliable source that to clear a 10mg valium metabolite from your system takes 23 days. So the these guys that answered are correct. Taking a valium or a worse a whole bunch better not have a urine test for a min. 25 days and heavy use probably longer.

I take 10 of diazepam per night. I also take 60mg of dihydrocodeine in the morning. I've been on this dose for 15yrs. I lost my driving licence, & now have to have a medical via the DVLA. Am I allowed to have these drugs in my system? They are on prescription. If not how long will it take to get these drugs out of my system? I'm also on 45mg Mirtzapine - anti depressants. I've stopped drinking alcohol, but must I stop taking these prescribed drugs. Thank you. I await your reply. Jane.

Here's what happened with me... I'm on suboxone and as a result, I get drug tested from my prescribing physician. Well and a few months back I was suffering so bad from anxiety and lack of sleep, and I shared that with my doctor. He told me to take melatonin but it did nothing for anxiety so a friend gave me a some 10 mg valium, and I took 2. Well, when I went in to my doctor for my suboxone refill and the usual UA about 7-8 days later, I had a positive result for benzos. I thought it wouldn't show up in my ua 7-8 days later but it did. When he confronted me, I told him that I had indeed taking some valium, and I reminded him about the sleeping/anxiety problems that I was having. I told him I was sorry but I just couldn't handle it. I only took 2, but for some reason this stuff likes to stick around in your system. Fast forward 1 week After that appointment, I made the stupid decision to take another valium. I took 1 ONLY 1, 3 weeks before my doctor appointment, because I was suffering and couldn't sleep. Well, 3 weeks later I had my appointment and another UA, and it came up positive, AGAIN...3 weeks later, I couldn't believe it. I'm not super active, but I drink tons of water and I couldn't believe that this crap would still be in my system 3 weeks later from just taking 1. I have read some reports online that said that valium can stay in your system for up to 8 weeks... REALLY? 2 MONTHS!!??? I don't know about other benzodiazepines, but as far as valium goes, watch out for that one.

If you're wondering or questioning whether or not you can take a valium and get away with it, I would err on the side of caution if I were you. Especially if it's something that you can get in big trouble for. If you've already taken something, you may want to be upfront and honest with your doctor before he/she does the UA. Another thing you could do, is buy your own drug screening test (or a cleanse) to take at home before you go into the doctor. The home drug screening tests only cost a few bucks and you'll be able to see whatever or not you have something to be worried about. If you know your test is going to be positive, it's probably better to just be upfront and honest about it. Anybody can have a slip, but you have to decide for yourself whether or not you think honesty is the best medicine for you. That way you can be better prepared and let your doctor, boss, ect. ahead of time, before they have the chance to think that you're being sneaky.

I took about 400mg of Valium, if not more in one night because I was depressed and honestly wanted to die. I took other things too. But I woke up the next morning. It's been 2 days since I did that and I'm still having awful side effects. I have to go back to work tomorrow and I don't know if I can handle it.....any advice?

This is quite embarrassing, but I've took the most 8 valums each day, which I think are off brand cause it says always known as that on the bottle for like maybe a week and a few days all put together. How long will it stay in me?

As long as your medication is prescribed by a doctor and your medication is not out of date then you will get the job. If you fail the drug test and have no prescription in your name then you won't get hired. So if what your asking is true then your good to go!!!
