How Long Does Percocet Stay In Your System (Top voted first)

I took Percocet last Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I took a UA today (Saturday) and I want to know if I will be clean?

and to add, i have a slow metabolism too!!.i counldnt believe the results when the test came back i was under the impression too that they stay in your system for five days!! hope this helps someone really looking for answer to this ?.

I took 3 percocet 10 on Monday, I have never taken these in my life. They are not prescibed. I have a bad rotator cuff and 2 lortabs a day aren't helping. I stopped taking the lortabs 2 weeks ago. Have a job interview on Thursday. Would these 3 taken on the same day show up on urine screen by Friday?

i took 6 percocets on sat jan 29 and i had to go to pain management for the first time that following monday (jan 31) which means there shouldn't be any pain meds in my system. im scared i read other peoples stories and a few people said that they took a few perks the same day as their drug test and they passed their drug test. i dont think they should drug test, im not a drug addict, but when they drug test me or anyone else, they arent treating us as patients, they are treating us like criminals that are on provation. if my test shows up positive, will my pain doc give me another chance? i also thought that since my primary care presribed me tylox a few months ago, and tylox shows up as oxycodone just like percocets do, then cant i say that i had a few left over and took them? could that work? i really need some advice from someone that knows about pain pills and drug test, someone please help. i need to know what to expect on my next visit.

I believe you should be ok after 72 hours, but everyone's body is different. If you only took one, then you should be ok.

im on methadone mant. and i took over 100mgs of percocet on wednesday night and had a urine test at six in the morning on thursday and came up neg. so i say less than 24 hrs.!!

The 500mg you described is not the part your concerned with. What your looking for is the strenght of Oxycodone in the pill. It's either 5mg, 7.5mg or 10mg

Depends on how much you ingest, how much water you drink, how active you are. If you are someone who sweats/evercises a lot this raises your metabolism and will get it out of your urine faster, than someone that lays around and does not exercise. I have to take urine tests at my pain clinic but this is to ensure a few things. 1. to make sure I am taking the meds they are giving me (people do sell these ya know and not take their meds) and 2. to make sure no illegal or foreign substance shows up. I weigh around 200 lbs and if I take say 4 pills in a day then stop for 3 days and drink a lot of water, then I have seen it come up negative. You can buy those instant urine tests at your pharmacy, sure it is not going to cleanse your system but I like to know ahead of time what is going to show up. I test myself couple hours before each visit to make sure everything is all good.

I took 6 10/325 percocets today(Saturday) around 3 pm. I have a urine test at 5:30 pm on Monday and I am wondering if i will pass. I havent used before today in about 4 days. I have read many forums on this topic and it seems that percocet leaves your system faster then most other opiates. Can someone please give me their insight on this matter?

Prescription painpills are water soluble so if you guys want to pass a test i recommend putting a water hose n your mouth and flush :)

I believe it can happen because I had 2 back surgeries in the matter of 3 years and from about 4months before the first surgery until 8wks after the second. They started me out on vicodin 5mgs a few times a day, half way through I was up to 12 perc 20mgs a day. After the second surgery the pain started getting better and instead of weening me off, exactly 8wks after the surgery they just stopped writting rx's for pain meds. That is ok with me because I was having waaaay less pain, but there needed to be a "come off opiates" plan put into place or something because I went through it. I called the orthopedics and asked them what to do and they told me to call my regular dr. and they only gave me Nexum for nausia. I grew up in this town and there are alot of stuff on the streets, but I refused to take anything that wasnt a RX, so I suffered through it, but it was only a few days and it was over...so if someone was on alot of opiates for a long time, and did not have any for 10 days, yes the withdrawls are gone. The rest is what kind of frame of mind and determination the person has to stay off them.
