hi I go to pain management and have a urine test in the a.m. Im prescribed hydro 10 if I took two yesterday two today and one in the morning before my test will I be OK this is my first test. Help anyone.

As long as Toronto were prescriped this you will Be ok. Always remember never lie to your dr. Because if your pain is that great he may prescribe more of the percocet to manage your pain better. Dr. Like it when you are honest. Tell your dr. You had them in your cabinet and just try to see if change you meds would help. Good luckn

Thats not true at all lovenpain..i have extensive nerve damage and 7 herniated discs in my back and have been prescribed 30mg oxycodone and fentanyl for years..if the drug test is just a dipztick test then yes,it wont matter and will only show that opiates are in the system..but if the test is sent to a lab,then the lab can and will be able to tell exactly what type of opiate was consumed..

Vicodin & Lortab ate tyne exact same thing. Same wroth Lorcet as well. It all just has tyne same chemical name (Hydrocodone) & all different amounts of Tylenol in each one.

Excellent answer, if it weren't for people who use these drugs illegally we would not have to worry. I had back surgery 2 months ago, I still need to take a Vicodin here and there but not a constant thing. I am looking to move and when I get a job I will be required to take a drug test. After reading all these answers I should be ok.

I'm glad that that is the case...it ALL depends on what type of UA they use...some are not as sensitive as others...to tell someone they are ok is SO misleading..some test are uber sensitive and pick up the slightest....and depending on what/where you are being tested..yes hydo and oxy will both show as an opiate but if sent off for further testing it can break down and find out exactly what you took...my advice don't use..believe me I'm a 10 year user that doesn't have script anymore and i won't chance it for nothing.

I took a 7.5 hydrocodone on Monday afternoon before 6 pm.
I had a urine test done, surprisingly on the following day around 12 .am, which was actually Wednesday morning.
I'm not a user. Just had horrible back pain and needed something cuz nothing worked. Will I test positive?

It is incredible how many of you have had to undergo so much because of pain. I, personally, had an accident two years ago and had to undergo several surgeries. Hoping for the best, unfortunately I was still in excruciating pain. Pain medications helped, but I have an autistic child, plus I was concerned about the consequences of these medications and how they may harm my body. My mother in law told me about a natural medicine that, I was reluctant about, but she said that it would improve my condition greatly. I have been taking it for a week and, not only is my pain gone, but I have energy and am able to sleep better. Not only am I greatful for this, but I want to share this with others that are in the same position.
