Maria I been there 3 yrs great staff that dont require surgery nor injections and consider majahwana a healing drug so ur aloud to have that in your system there at 915 tollhouse road in Frederick Maryland suite 103 I believe hope that helps u go every 28 days and I'm up to 150 of 30 mg perks and 84 of the 15 mg opanias every 28days

My ain management doctor dismissed me because morphine was in my system which they gave to me in the emergency room for severe migraine I did no know they gave it to me in a IV what can I do now about it I don't have a pain doctor because of that what can I do...

Lovey, you can try and find another pain doctor. If you signed a pain contract agreeing to not having another doctor traet you for pain, you may not be able to find one. If you do find a new doctor, they will want a copy of your medical records from your previous doctor. You may need proof that the hospital gave you morphine in the IV. For that you will need to get a copy of your medical records from the hospital that treated you.

Hi I'm
Having trouble with getting my hydrocodone filled my new doctor is reluctant and I had an appointment with pain clinic 1/31/17 I called to let them know I was coming but they failed to inform me I had to be there at 2:30 pm and appointment was at 2:50 they refused to see me till March I suffered with pain from fybromyalga neck herniated disk and neuropathy my doctor of 14 years in Michigan always filled my script but now I live in Indiana and it got to painful to travel to Michigan for my old doctor my new doctor she filled it twice but now comes February not sure if I can get it filled. Everything my old doctor did worked now I'm going through all the hoops instead of new doctor going by the findings of my issue of chronic pain can anyone help me here in Portland Indiana

We lived in Michigan-petoskey, farmington hills, & battle creek. FORGET any pain clinics on the west or central or south central-they gave me non-narcotic-HEAVY CRAP that ruined my stomach or told me to go to er! When we lived in farmington hills, i FINALLY got help! Dr. Guseppi Paese helped me with Percocet or whatever worked & at times I needed injections. All I felt was a "pain prick". He was wonderful & kept me pretty much out of pain! There was another pain clinic by Novi (forgot the name). It was a pain clinic & had physical therapy.

Hey BL, FYI THere are ways around getting another pain doctor even if a patient signed a contract, the patient gets a referral from their primary doctor not their previous pain doctor. Believe me when a person is desperate they WILL find a way, I certainly have.

Hi Snappy, sorry to hear about your back. Do you actually have something structurally wrong, like with discs in your spine or anything, or is it "invisible pain"? I'm asking because I have severe Fibromyalgia & other stuff that probably won't show on an MRI (although I do have straightening of the spine that would show on an x-ray so I'm going to ask for one). Some doctors don't think there's pain if they can't see structural trouble so just wanted to ask.

But I live in po Indiana now my doctor was dr Mondursova on grand river I would travel all the way there to get all my meds boom in no shape to travel that far anymore I lived in Michigan for 24 years she been the best doctor I ever known had her for 14 years

mm, a patient doesn't need a referal from their pain doctor. A new pain doctor is going to want copies of medical records. Most medical records have a note in them if another doctor is managing pain. They can look a patient up in the states Prescription Monitoring Program and see what doctor has been prescribing pain meds to them, If a new doctor tells a patient to sign a release form so the doctor can get medical records from the previous pain doctor and the patient doesn't, the patient can be dismissed.

BL, I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING, BUT I PERSONALLY HAVE GOTTEN NEW PAIN MANAGEMENT WITHOUT INVOLVING PREVIOUS PAIN DOCTORS, YES YOU ARE CORRECT, THEY SEE WHAT MEDS ARE PRESCRIBED ON THE COMPUTER, BUT IF SOMEONE IS SMART, THEY CAN GIVE A REASON WHY THEY LEFT THEIR PREVIOUS DOCTOR, THIS HAS HAPPEND TO ME. IT TAKES A BIT OF THINKING THE STORY OUT, IT IS HARD YES, BUT CAN BE DONE BECAUSE I HAVE DONE IT NUMEROUS TIMES, ALSO THE PATIENT CAN GET THEIR OWN MEDICAL RECORD AND HAND OVER WHAT THEY WANT. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WHEN I TELL MY NEW DOCTOR I LEFT MY PREVIOUS PAIN MANAGEMENT ON MY TERMS.

Yes you definitely need to present yourself and be legitimate and conservative with your story, but not deceiving. You sound as if you have some history in your medical records that would not be acceptable. I feel being above board and honest is the best way to encourage people who need help finding a pop aim management doctor.

Momo, of course honesty and being upfront is absolutely the way to go, all I am saying it can be done getting a pain management Dr. You suggested things in my records, on one occasion I left the dr because they wanted to do a pill count because they prescribed me a med that was not in my system. I ran out of them because I was taking the script the wrong way, I wasn't about to tell them that. It is my option to see whatever Dr I want, bottom line, if you or anyone is truly in pain they or at least I would/will do what I have to do to have a pain dr. I was seeing a dr at the a Cleveland clinic for horrible headaches, he was very reluctant to take me on, he gave me a chance putting me on methadone, well long story short he got info from the pharmacy board that I had filled Zanex and Ativan, well I was let go for this, I was getting the zanex filled for my brother who had no insurance, I didn't take any, plus up until that I was a success story. Do you think I wanted a new pain Dr I filled that script? Hell no, so that is what I am saying, it can be done if someone truly thinks it out, granted there are situations it can't be done, it is amazing what one will do when they are desperate and cannot function.

Being the pain clinic refused to see me the day of my appointment cause I wasn't there at 2:30 appointment was at 2:50 they rescheduled me till march I see my regular doctor February 7th I'm wondering if she would fill my hydrocodone as she did twice before. till I got started with pain clinic that wouldn't allow me to come in I was 3:4 the way there what shall I do I never been to pain doctor before. The way my old doctor had me on a medication regiment worked after years of different medication now I think they want to change what is working for my condition I need real advice here thank you. nascarjoe

Ascarjo, I think if you explain this to your other dr you probably have a good shot of that dr writing a script seeing that it sounds like it would be for just one month. A similar situation happened to me so I am telling you from experience. Hopefully your Dr will understand your situation. The dr will probably tell you that it is a one time thing so ask, the worse that could happen is the dr says no, but if you don't ask you will continue to be in pain. I would think since you have a scheduled appointment with a pain Dr you have a good shot at the Dr writing at least for a one time deal, hope this helps.

Thanks that's what I'm afraid of she almost didn't write one last month cause I didn't go to therapy I told her why for insurance reasons my new insurance kicked in on the first I went to every session she knew I was on my way to pain clinic I called them and told my dr nurse they rescheduled me till march I really don't like the nurses attitude when I call they Make me out to be a drug addict I don't even like taking pills but my old doctor put me on
This regiment that worked now every one wants to change it I called another pain clinic asked my doctor to send a referral still have not heard from them yet
