My husband and I both have been paying out of pocket for suboxone every 2 weeks for a year now. We paid $300 for the first visit and $75 every two weeks after just for the doctors visits (on top of that now we are getting letters saying we owe almost $3,000 each for testing that isn't covered in what we pay the doctor so now we are going to have that on our credit too). On top of that the prescription is $123 every two weeks each before the suboxone $45 dollar discount. Which brings it evenly to around $85 every two weeks.

I spent all night last night online looking at all the pharmacy help cards, and cheap prescription coverage insurance that might help and I found this card. I honestly didn't ever take the links people posted for these cards seriously because every time I would try one it wasn't a very good discount and it wasn't able to be combined with the $45 discount card so it wasn't a big help.

Looking around I got through 30 pages on the google search before I got to this card and looked up how much it would cost, at first I was getting the same $123 but on the 3rd page of pharmacies I see $7.50 for a box of Suboxone 2mg 0.5mg Film (30 count). I go no way this can't be right. I go to the next page and there is another pharmacy this time a Walgreens that says $8.50. I go ok lets go try this. I called the smaller pharmacies that it said they were $7.50 at but they didn't have any and would have to order it but we needed it today so I go well its a dollar and really I'm still saving a ton so I went to Walgreens and just said I had new insurance and they put it in, and go ok your total is going to be $8.50. I had printed out the price quote and everything incase I had to say something but I didn't it just went through. So seriously get this card free and check how much you can save on price quote page : myrxprice.com :: I promise I am not making it up and I honestly hated having to go to the doctor every two weeks and us spending our entire pay checks. So please try this and let me know if it helps you out at all. I am in New York if it makes any difference, although since it's a Walgreens I am sure it will be the same everywhere they have them.

Just wanted to say I found a treatment center to help that is close to me that will take my insurance and pay for the Suboxon. I do my intake Monday and do my detox there for 72 hours the same week. So happy that these pills won't be running my life anymore and I will have help. :)

g man:

Well good for you. May I ask...what was the point of telling everyone on this thread that? The most common complaint on here is the cost of suboxone and how people are having trouble paying for them. No matter, I guess you just wanted to rub it in other people faces how forturnate you are. I mean seriously, give me a reason why you would tell everyone on the thread that...Well, I do know of one other reason but we wont go there "hustler'.

Does anyone know where I can find a suboxone dr in PA. I live in Blair County, Altoona area but ill travel. I am currently on Methadone 80mgs. I know I have to get dwn to 30mgs to start suboxone but ill do it as fast as possible. I have been clean off of all illegal drugs for 10yrs now & my Methadone clinic keeps messing w me. They're telling men i have substances in my drug screen that I didnt even take when I was an addict on the street. I can see why some ppl would deny it even if it were true so when this happens to those of us who r really telling the truth the staff doesnt know who is lying & who is being truthful. If I were lying i wouldnt be on here where nobody knows me. I want out of my clinic & would like to get kn suboxone...then start to detox off of it so I am competely drug free. So does anyone know of srs in PA????? I REALLY NEED HELP!!!!!!

I'm reposting this. It's still a good program.

Rxhope.com ( also called here to help) will give 3-30 day supply ( total 90 days of meds) free if you have a diagnosis of opioid dependence and make less than 250% of the poverty level.

You call 888-898-4818 and get the application. Your doc signs off.

They send a card. Your pharmacy fills free.

These weren't the generic I got at CVs with the 50$ savings card. They were the name brand films, I got 14/8 mgs for $56.00.

Like I said not too shabby.

I couldn't agree any more!! I am now 4yrs clean! Short relapse after lower back surgery, but Suboxen actually saved me from what a horror nightmare could've been!!
I completely agree w/ so much of what you've said...1.) Everyone's different. & heals on their own time, on their own speed, & their own way. 2.) I've also taken Lrg amounts thinking I was getting "high!!", not realizing that I was searching for a "high."
Ur post should b read; esp for anyone who is hoping on starting, or just looking for info on it. Thanks!!

im thinking about trying the subs instead of methadone. i was on 140 mg of methadone for 4 years & íve been on opiate pain meds for over 20 years & thinking about trying the subs. are they as hard to come off of vs. methadone? that stuff took months 4 me to finally start feeling better. but i had to stop the methadone cold turkey & that was pure hell

These people are just asking for help. There is no need to be a *****t. I feel so bad for you having to put other people down to feel good about yourself. Maybe therapy can teach you how to direct your insecurities and anger elsewhere. It must be exhausting to constantly have your guard up and be so scared. I wish you the best. And while you're at it, how about looking up empathy, compassion, sympathy and common decency in your dictionary.

You can search for a clinic in Your area. The State or County might have some sort of out patient program. I had a Dr. who specialized in this specialty field. He charged $50.00 a visit. After a few months I was able to go every other month. Warning drug panels are highly likely nowadays so be serious about this or else you will be dropped and that will not be a good recursive if at any future time you are serious about kicking.

Hope everyone is doing well. A tip I'm sure is not knowledge tossed around normally but I became friends with the pharmacist I used. And after a few months she told me to go online and print the voucher and it will be a solid mark off. I thought probably like everyone else when they see those bupe ads that it's just corporate click bait. But sure enough 10 seconds on the website generated a code. I printed - She punched it in the system (Duane Reade) and now I save $75 every month on name brand films. I would've never believed it would work unless she insisted. Give it a shot. Literally suboxone.com. Can't hurt.

Re: Bravehearts1977 (# 265) Expand Referenced Message

This site has a card, $25 copay if you have insurance. Or go to suboxone.com. There are others who go by your income, by manufacturer. I have only seen strips, but wasn't looking for pills.

I have been a heroin addict for 20 years, I have on and off methadone for the whole length of my addiction, I was a I.V drug user, I was spending around 200.00 a day for my heroin habit. I got on methadone at a clinic. My daily dose 150mg. a day was 2.00 a day. Well, I recently moved from VA. to California and went to a clinic that provided me Suboxone. I really like it. I am on 3 strips a day and it really helps. Imagine my shock when I went to pick my script and it was 633.84!!!! How in the hell am I supposed to afford that? I am unemployed, conviced felon(so hard to find a job) and really worried. Thank God I had help to pay for my 30 day supply, but now I am having to consider going back on methadone because of the cost of the suboxone. Yea, they do give u the little "discount" card but for real, that's not a whole lotta help. I think It totally sucks that the drug company won't make a generic brand.I know there is Subutex(straigh bupernorphine) but my Dr. says that is for the inital withdrawl only then, you get put on Suboxone. I guess I have 3 months to figure it out. I applied to medacal, but the pharmacy said only a select few get qualified to have the Suboxone paid for WHAT'S A ADDICT TO DO?

Time for me to vilify greedy drug companies. Suboxone has helped me tremendously with a 20 pill/day percocet addiction ( following 5 brain surgeries to remove a tumor). I have been clean since the day I started treatment with suboxone. The cost per pill has increased from 5 to 8 dollars. Although the maker Reckitt Benckiser may be getting richer, they are making it impossible to afford, in effect denying treatment to many. Insurance companies are starting to implement review procedures that also deny coverage. I hope the folks at R-B enjoy their short-term gain while many addicts continue to suffer. One of the chief benefits of Suboxone treatment comes from the knowledge that ones supply is consistent. It's getting ton the point where some patients literally can buy only one day's supply at a time and it is cheaper to cop percocet on the street. I think the FDA needs to enforce accessibility standards on pharmaceutical companies that want to market life-saving medications. The dilemma is that while I continue to pay for Suboxone, I am helping to perpetuate the problem. Until their returns start to diminish, R-B will have no incentive to reduce their price.
Well, that was too long delayed and I'm glad to get nit off my chest.
If you're an addict and are considering Suboxone, I will tell you that it truly saved me and the hardest part was getting myself to the docs office 24 hrs. sober. While on it, you can improve your chances of success by learning sober patterns of behavior that you will continue with or without Suboxone. Eventually, normal coping skills also return and you will realize that you can manage completely on your own. But everyone must proceed at their own pace. Be very wary of anyone who tells you to adhere to standard timelines.

I just tried your website that you suggested and you are a liar. They cost exactly the same around 8.50 each pill or strip.

I am trying to find a Dr. as well that I can get suboxone from. I read all the comments what people are saying they are paying for to get this medication. But at this point to buy the pills off the street which my husband and I have to do and around here where we live a 10mg runs from 7 to 8 dollers apiece so what your spending in getting the drug to get off the opiate is what you would be spending in buying it. I would rather take the money for the pill to help me get off it then continue with the buying the pills for our addiction. Just a thought.

SO...VERY IMPRTANT...
SUBOXONE HERE TO HELP PROGRAM, PATIENCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (PAP)
