I HAVE DARK PINK "AMBIEN" OVAL PILLS MARKED 5 mg. I HAVE HAD LIGHT PINK IN THE PAST. IS THE DARK PINK ONE THE SAME? CAN THIS PILL BE CUT IN HALF? ## Hello, Marcie! How are you? What are the exact markings on the tablet? That is what would enable me to check for you to see whether or not it is an Ambien/Zolpidem tablet. Learn more Ambien details here. Can you please post back with this additional information? Thanks!

I HAVE DARK PINK "AMBIEN" OVAL PILLS MARKED 5 mg. I HAVE HAD LIGHT PINK IN THE PAST. IS THE DARK PINK ONE THE SAME? ## can I cut the above in half? ## Hi marcie, If you got your Ambien pills from a "legitimate" drug store like CVS, Rite Aid, or Walgreens, there shouldn't be much, if any discrepancy between batches of pills from a particular manufacturer. However, it's not uncommon for some manufacturers to change the color of a pill at their own discretion without any prior notice. To answer your other question, a score line (divit) usually indicates whether or not you can cut a tablet in half. Without that, I probably wouldn't suggest doing anything to alter it - unless your doctor says otherwise. Do you notice any difference at all in how the dark pink tabl...

I take cymbalta for anxiety, not depression. I was wondering if it is ok to take cymbalta in the morning, have 1-2 beers over 3 hrs in the evening and take a tiny dose of ambien. I've taken ambien after a beer plenty of times and its fine. I've been taking ambien for severe insomnia for a few years. Just wondering if ambien, cymbalta, and beer would have a bad effect. Thanks! ## If you're taking Ambien, it's really best not to drink, at all. I understand that you've already done it, without any problems, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Plenty of other people have also done so, only to suddenly get a huge surprise one day, when they woke up in jail or a hospital, because they suddenly experienced an adverse reaction. I was taking zolpidem CR/12.5mg for about 6 months. A few days ago, I came home from working an evening shift and drank one 24 ounce can of beer (officially two drinks). 3 hours later I took my usual dose of zolpidem, which I use approx 3 times each week. I really thought nothing of it at the time. I didn't use them together at the same time. I don't get high, I don't look for a buzz. I don't remember anything else. I got up at some point and took more (i assume, because the bottle was halfway gone. I don't remember doing this, it's not something I have ever done and I have always followed prescribed dosing. After going to bed, the next thing I remember is waking up 50 miles away in jail, in a county completely unfamiliar to me (i didn't know how to get there...

I went to the pharmacy today to fill mine and my husband's prescriptions. When I was looking at all the scripts, I realized that my husband's script had more then usual. Now here's the thing- He is prescribed 30 10mg ambien a month but the insurance will only cover 15 for him. His bottle had 30 in but the qty on the bottle said 15 and I only paid the insurance prem for the 15. Now I dont know what to do- He is prescribed the 30 I picked up but I only paid for 15- should I contact the pharmacy since it is a controlled substance? I know they cant make me return them, but I specificly told them today to only fill what the insurance would pay for- I want to inform them of there error but I dont want to be forced to pay $30 for it. ## Hello, In my opinion, if you just want to do ...

Does anyone know if Ambien (Zolpidem) 10 mg from Mexico comes in a round 1/4", lightish orange tablet (white inside). Scorned on one side and unmarked on the other side? Does anyone know if there is a Mexican pill identifier website? How can I tell if they are real or is Zolpidem 10mg even made like that? Has anyone taken these from Mexico? Did they work ok? ## Unfortunately, when you order from a foreign source, those are the hazards associated with it. There is no way of knowing exactly what you have received, unless you would pay to have it lab tested. And no, there is no Mexican drug identification website. Their medications are not regulated like those in the U.S., so there is no repository of their imprints, colors or etc. I am sorry, I wish I could help more. Has anyone actua...

Been on this med for a long time, last refill shape had changed, from round with score on one side to oval with 3 on one side 73 on the other side, both were white, last refill did not help me sleep, in fact felt had taken an upper, no luck talking to pharmacist, same pill they kept telling me, no sleep for me told them..So here I am looking for answers?...thanx ## Did you mean a tablet with E 79 on it? If so, yes it contains 10mgs of Zolpidem, but there can be slight fluctuations from one generic to another and the inactive ingredients can be completely different, so either reason could have caused your problem. Learn more Zolpidem details here. How long did you try it? In most cases, such problems only last for a week or so, while your body adjusts and then they resolve.

Is there an ambien with 3 on one side and 79 on other peach colored ## I don't think there's a peach colored tablet, but there is an oval white pill imprinted with a capitol "E" on one side and "79" on the other, that happens to be identified as Zolpidem tartrate (10 mg), also known as Ambien. I suppose if you accidentally held it upside down, the E would resemble a number 3. Manufacturer: Aurobindo Pharma National Drug Code (NDC): 65862-0160 Size: 9.00 mm Zolpidem is a prescription medication used for the short-term treatment of insomnia, as well as some brain disorders. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Zolpidem Details I hope this helps!

Using a 5mg tab once at bedtime. Can the pill be cut in half to lower the dosage ? ## I am prescribed 10 mg. of Ambien and often cut/break them in half to lower the dose. Works just fine. ## Yes you can cut it in half if it works for you. You can even have it prescribed in a lower dose (I think that it comes in 5), but if you use it long-term it would be more cost effective judt to break it in half. ## Just to add a safety warning for anyone else seeking such information… Cutting, breaking or crushing a pill is only safe to do if it is not a time released formulation. You can only do this safely with regular release medications. If you see something on your prescription label such as ER, XR, SR, CR, DR or any warning not to crush, chew, break or etc. then there is a rea...

I have been on Ambien since 1995, I've never seen a pill with 5 dots on the back of it; and no numbers; has the same NDC on it as my bottle from last month. They don't work. ## Hi Donna, Just out of curiosity, where did you get your prescription filled at? To my understanding, the FDA requires all prescription medications by law to have some sort of marking/logo or numerical imprint on the tablet to identify it by substance, manufacturer, and dosage. Without this information it could literally be anything. I suppose the 5 dots are considered to be a marking, but there's really no way to search for 'dots' in pill descriptions. If you don't mind posting the NDC I can try looking it up for more specific details on that pill. Does anyone recognize these?

I have been taking ambien 10mg for about three years. Every now and then I have bought some online which they have always been legit. I got some in the mail today that are different than any I have ever seen. They are off white and oblong. They have a small score on one side but other than that absolutely no markings. Anyone ever seen these? ## Unfortunately without an imprint, this pill could literally be anything. One of the risks involved with ordering from an unlegit pharmacy is that they are not required by any law or jurisdiction to actually give you what you paid for. If you're trying to get your money back, the only thing I can suggest is to call your credit or debit card company and inform them of the mishap in hopes that someone will work with you to make sure it's res...

My 84 year old mother in law has used this drug for MANY years. She says to calm her and just want to know more about it-side effects, addictive effects, etc. She also takes ambien religiously. Can you advise? Driving? etc. ## I'm sorry but the closest match I could find to Razipan was Lorazepam. Is this what you were referring to? Lorazepam has relatively potent anxiolytic effects and its best known indication is the short-term management of severe chronic anxiety. This would explain why she takes it to feel calm. Regarding side effects and other general information, you can learn more here: Lorazepam Details As far as Ambien goes, my findings state that there are potentially unsafe interactions between this and Lorazepam.
