After putting ambien under your tongue and it dissolves. What do I need to do now? ## Ambien is not meant to be taken that way. It should be swallowed whole, with a full, 8 ounce, glass of water, immediately before going to bed. It would be best to simply lay down and take a nap. In the future, I'd suggest leaving all medications in well marked containers to avoid such errors. Are there any other questions or concerns?

Have a friend takes ambian, zaniflex, dramamine, norco10mg,1/2mg xanax, soma and any over counter sleep aid she can buy. said she took 14 ambian at one time. she says she still can't sleep. take 1 4mg zaniflex can't walk starts drulling in 10min r less. family is at wits end. she has to stay n jail till find clinic if family signs papers. if she signs she can wait at home. what to do ## Hello, Mat! I'm sorry, but there's really nothing to be done, it's going to take time for the Ambien to wear off. The best thing to do would be to lay down and sleep it away. There's no way to dilute it or do anything to change its affect on you that fast.

Mexico pharmacies are faking a NUMBER of pills. A HUGE AMOUNT OF THEM are taking bottles of other medications and putting fake stickers on the bottles and selling them as other medications. For example, they take stickers of bottles of flexeril/Cyclobenzaprine and sell them as ambien! I brought a bottle back and had them tested by labs. They tested for what I thought! Cyclobenzaprine! They tried to sell me codeine, which was in fact tramadol! They also tried selling fake lortab, vicoden, etc. I didn't see those pills as I did not need them, but the stickers looked the same. There are new effective insomnia meds out there. I like Ambien and Lunesta. Be care full, they are a addictive just like placdidyl. If you want non adictive meds. Of course check with your doc first, Trazadone, Seroquil, Geodon, (most of these are anti psychotic drugs but they do work. And if you don't won't to go those routes ask for benzos.

I was just prescribed levothyroxin and been taking ambien but I now can't sleep cause of muscle spasms and tention been up for two days can it be because I'm taking both pills I take one in the morning and one at night ## Hello, Shanta! I'm sorry, but that is a manufactured for a generic from India, since they are not approved by the U.S. FDA, I have no information on them. That is one of the hazards of ordering in such a manner. I've been suffering with insomnia for many years, my doc. Prescribed many sleeping drugs but they don't work on me . I was visiting in the Usa and because of not sleeping I got very high blood pressure , the doctor gave me 2tablets of Ambien Iwas asleep within 10 min . My doctor prescribed sublinox 10 mg. Sublingual,after Taking the med I waited over 2 hours and no sleep ,after several hours I finally dozed off, but woke up aftre 2 hours frustreted because I didn't feel rested. My question is :Sublinox is supposed to be the equivalent of Ambien how come it does not work the same? Also is sublingual the only form or there are in pillform? I have been taking this medication for 6 years. If it just supposed to used short terms why do the doctor keep giving it to you. ## Did you try any others? Is this the only one that worked for you? Doctors don't have to follow the dosing and usage recommendations, they can prescribe according to their ow experience. However, it would be best not to stop it abruptly after taking it for such a long period of time, it would be best to taper it. Are there any other questions or concerns?

I TOOK ALL AT ONCE & STILL CANT SLEEP :( ## Endo and Teva are both pharmaceutical manufacturers, not the names of any medications, so this doesn't inform anyone of what you actually took. And regarding any of them, including the Ambien, if you're taking more than your doctor has prescribed, you are putting yourself in danger of overdose. Rather than taking more and more of any given medication, you need to consult your doctor for assistance, you likely need to try something else. How often do you suffer from insomnia?

Since I have been taking Ambien 10 mg. every night for sleep.
