Why Am I Taking 6 Pills Of Prednisone 20mg

I have 20mg prednisone tablet 3 tabs daily x3days, 2tabs dailyx3 then 1 tab daily 3x daily. This is going to be 2 strong for me can it be cut down the dose or can I cut the pills.? I have taken the 4mg methylprednisolone before and that was strong . So I know that I will not be able to take this much. ## Hello, Frog! How are you doing? I had a allergic reaction to some makeup or cream and had very swollen and red eyelids/skin. Was prescribed 8 pills of 20 mg prednisone to take 2x/day for 4 days. I look so much better after taking the 3 pills, can I just stop now or is it like an anibotic and I need to finish the course of the pills? I have been prescribed to take 20 mg prednisone a day but haven't started taking it yet because of the scary side effects. I have a rx for Prednisone 20mg to take e 1 tablet daily with a quantity of 5 pills. I took 3 tablets in a 24 hour period, leaving me 2 pills to take. This is to get me ready for cancer surgery on my mouth to make sure my lungs are clear. What should I do? I was diagnosed with steroid withdrawal after receiving 3 steroid shots. and given a 12 day taper. When I got down to last pill the pain in my 2 shoulders and hip came racing back. Hey, I just got prescribed prednisone 20 mg for a horrible allergy reaction to pet dander and (normal summer reactions). I was wondering if it was suitable to take my first dose tonight? 8pm! I have a terrible rash on my neck, chest and spreading to my breasts. I am on 20 mg. of prednisone (reduced from 30 mg) and have been for almost a month.
