Are they now smaller? I'm concerned. Purchased a new refill and I'm finding the 20 mg pills are much smaller than my last refill. When did this occur? ## What are the markings on the tablet? I'm sorry, but I need this additional information in order to double check the information for you. It is possible that they changed the fillers they used, so the tablets are now smaller. What is the color of the Lupin capsules of this medication in this strength ## Amlodipine with Benazapril is a combination medication used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions. The tablet manufactured by Lupin that contains 10mgs of the Amlodipine and 20mgs of the Benazapril is described as being purple, but it seems to look more reddish, with a darker portion where the two halves of the capsule overlap. On the darker half it should have the letters LU and on the bottom, lighter half there should be E14. Is there anything else I can help with?

I've been taking lisinopril 20 mg twice daily for several years, filling it through Walmart Mail-Order whose supplier is Lupin Pharmaceuticals. The pills have always been pink and the same size until my most recent refill, when the size is now half of what it was previously, about the same as the hydroclorothiazide (HCTZ) 25 mg pill I take as well. Although the latter is pale peach in color while the former is pink, both pills are round in shape and the similarity between the two is quite problematic, especially for seniors like myself or anyone with poor vision, particularly when trying to distinguish between them in low light. Apparently pharmaceutical companies are legally allowed to change a pill size without FDC permission and with no requirement to advise customers of the chan...

I just picked up my prescription from a mom n pop pharmacy. Seems like every other month they have a different manufacturer. Trust me I know - they buy the cheapest brand lot available at the time. But these new ones I just got are horrible. They're produced by Lupin Pharmaceuticals. They are blue in color and HARD as a rock!!! When I visit the website they keep comparing themselves to Mallinckrodt. I used to get Mallinckrodt before I switched to the new pharmacy and they were by far the best. But just be aware these new ones by Lupin SUCK so check your pills before you leave the window and request different ones. You'll thank me later. ## Interesting. Thanks. The Mallinckrodt Adderall are awful so I would have been worried about their pain meds. ## What difference is it if they...

I take 10 miligram Lupin tables - have been taking them 2x a day for 20 years. Today, I opened the bottle and they were 1/2 the size. Same markings on the pill and container, same color, same manufacturer but 1/2 the size. I asked the pharmacy assistant about it and she said the company was making them smaller but they were the same. I asked how they were doing that - were they removing fillers? Why did they have so many fillers in the first place. She said she didn't know, but would transfer me to the pharmacist. I asked the pharmacist and she sounded like she had been asked what the weather would be like the next day - "oh, I don't know...yeah...I don't really know." I don't feel comfortable taking these. ## Yes, in most cases they have changed the fillers they...

I've been taking lisinopril, lupin 20 mg. for a number of years My last rx was refilled recently and the pharmacy substituted it with actavis 20 mg. With the lupin, my b.p. readings were always good. With the actavis my b.p.is elavated. I have also experienced a terrible rash and intermittent hives. Could the change in meds have caused this? Yesterday I was prescribed verapamil. (haven't started to take it yet). The pharmacy has filled the prescription with verapamil-ER 120 mg MYLAN. I have severe chemical allergies (paraphenadiamine, Balsam of Peru, methylcloroisothiolizone, quinoline mix and wool alchohols). My outbreak may not have anything to do with the med change, but I thought I should investigate all avenues. ## Actavis is the manufacture and I don't take lisinopril ...

I take Lisinopril -HCTZ-20-12.5 mg twice a day. I noticed on my refill bottle It says Lisinopril 20 mg twice a day. Is that the same or should they be cut in half two times a day or should I call the doctor. Will this cause my heart rate to be higher and blood pressure to higher?. Thank You ## Did your doctor change your prescription? The original contained Lisinopril with Hydrochlorothiazide, while the new one, according to what you've listed, only contains the Lisinopril. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. It is always best to take the one your doctor has directed you to take.
