I am currently being perscribed Upjohn 55 tablets and am wondering how long (roughly), does the effect from one tablet last? All answers very much appreciated. ## Do you know how strong upjohn 55 diazapam peach tablets are? How much of the active ingredient does it have in it?? ## These are 0.5mg Alprazolam/Xanax tablets. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. How long the effects last to help can vary from person to person. How often did your doctor instruct you to take them?

I have xanax. Really lite pink colou. Oval in shape with score on 1 side n print. UPJOHN 55 print on other. (here in the U.S.) The white ones are 0.2mg. @Verwon.. since you are the medication 'guru' here on these med forums (IMHO), I'd like to know if (in the U.S.) Xanax's highest dose is 1mg. (purple). it is a long white caplet with a line down the middle ## Sorry, that doesn't tell us anything. Xanax is available in both name brand and generics. There are many generic manufacturers and each one of them will make a pill that looks different. There are no rules saying that pills with the same ingredient have to look the same! The size, color, shape and imprint will all vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The only relevant regulations from the FDA state that they must have unique imprints for identification purposes, but these will even differ by manufacturer and strength of the med.
