Qualitest are just as good as Sandoz and Mylan doesn't come close....That being said, Greenstone are better but my second choice is definitely the 2089V's.... ## It seems like most people here on the site are preferring similar brands to what you mentioned. It must have something to do with the percentage of the active ingredient used and/or presence of certain binders and fillers. I have a football shaped Xanax with pml 1 on them. It is also a lavender colored and I think there's speckles on it. What mg are they? ## I've only found a little information on these, so I cannot guarantee it's correct, but from the details my search turned up, these are from Thailand. They are sold under the brand name Pharmax, the manufacturer is Pharmaland, which explains the PML logo and the number corresponds to the dosage. Thus PML 1 contains 1mg of Alprazolam. I have been prescribed 1mg xanax x3 po tid prn for the past 14 yrs. I have always taken the generic form, but, this last refill is a generic form that I have never seen before; it's dark blue, scored, with the inscription 2089 V. As I understand, this generic is manufactured by Vintage pharmaceuticals. I am wondering how well 'known' this company is in regards to the quality of their medications. I've been on xanax for over two years and have had multiple different drug makers for the generic form of this pill. The maker of this particular pill, Qualitest, is the absollute worst. I've had to take three times the amount of pills to feel the same way I do on any other manufactureres pill. It's so bad that we took the bottle back to the pharmacy and told them they can just throw them out becaue it's garbage. Please don't accept xanax from the maker Qualitest. Suppose to be Xanax, but have taken 4 & can't tell. Normally two .5 mg. Put me to sleep! Just wondering, but is the medication not doing it's job? Maybe you should talk to your doctor about other alternatives. I've heard good things about Lexapro; but from personal experience, a good natural alternative I would recommend is St. John's Wort in combination with 5 HTP. Qualitest 1mg footballs are very good....I'm not going to compare brands but I will say Mylan doesn't come close to Qualitest.... ## Mylan would be very interested to hear from you? What are your feelings on Pfizer?
